I'm glad everyone's enjoying seeing these again, but man oh man I still just can't stand black and red for the Sabres colors. It's just so meh compared to the beauty of the blue and gold. Keep them as thirds for a time, sure but let's just make sure these don't make their way towards the main colors/jerseys ever again. The current home/away is gorgeous.

I'm a rangers fan but I'm pulling for the Sabres to end the playoff drought, I don't like Eichel and I'm excited to see how their young prospects pan out. Love these uniforms

I remember I must’ve been 12 years old or so…
I bought a ⚪️ Afinogenov jersey with the angry goat head logo on it—the first Sabre jersey I bought with my own saved up $ from the team store (a young girl of the same age wanted the same jersey and I wouldn’t give it up as Max was and still is my favorite all time player)
I still have that jersey and that memory hanging proudly in my bedroom closet! 👍🏻😄

Our most aggressive and successful era… no 10 year run was ever as good as 96-06, before or since. They had at least 6 or 7 deep playoff pushes during this time. I hope they keep blue and gold for our home and aways and the black and red for our alternates from now until the sun consumes our planet.

I never, NEVER, get tired of the Max goal against the Lightning. That and his goal against the Rags are two of the prettiest in Sabres’ history.
Sabres cir. 2005 are still my favorite Buffalo team. I think we would have eventually gotten the cup in 08 or 09 if management didn't let the band break up. Bring back the black!
