So many great things about this game!! MacKinnon, Makar, and Rantanen continuing to shine was awesome to see, but the best was seeing Landy on the ice again! Welcome back Captain!!
I haven't really followed the Av's much – I'm definitely not a hater tho – but the few games I watched them play throughout this season really made me go WOW…and this game was no exception !!! This team plays extremely well together – and while they do have a few stars , the ENTIRE team seems to be exceptional !! They may very well be Cup bound and they look like they both believe it and really want it…which bodes well for them !!
My favorite part of this video is that you can hear the crowd chanting "Du-chene Sucks!" right as he gets a breakaway and scores… Matt definitely shut the entire crowd up
If you forgot: Matt Duchene asked to be traded when the team needed him most during the rebuild. We haven’t forgotten. So you get booed. We still love him, but that’s NHL hockey.
