Trouba lands two clean hits and people call him dirty, and this gets no discussion at all. It’s almost as if it doesn’t fit the pro Pittsburgh nhl bias.
Now we're down 7 players (including Tom Wilson who got injured a little later in the period) via injury or covid protocol…. These next few games could be brutal.
Since the precedent was already with Trouba's hit on Khaira I'm not surprised there was no call here. The NHL clearly stated that hits directly to the head are fine as long as you hit their body as well. Not sure if I agree, but I don't make the rules
Kinda of confused on this one, looks like a clean hit to me, unfortunate yes but Washington player put himself in an awkward position. The game is too fast to not expect hits like this to happen. No intent to injure no arms leading into it no feet leave the ice…..Clean
While this is a hit to the head and should be dealt with it absolutely blows my mind all the caps fans who cry about this play but have always been quick to defend Wilson's hits that are much worse and clearly more intentional.

Clean Hit

It was a bad hit and needs to be reviewed, but I don’t think it was malicious. A hard, fast play gone wrong, but he whacked his head good.
Hope this happens to every player on the Craps.

Trouba did this twice in the last two games.
THUG MOVE.
Refs this year have been BRUTAL for every single team. Start handing out fines to the refs for making the game dangerous

This dude gets abused by the Pens lol
Ginner would never do something malicious.
Hate it for Fehervary. hope he's not injured too bad.
Just a hockey play. Shoulder not elbow, skates stayed on the ice. It is a contact sport and from that video looked clean.
So soft caps player. 🐼🐘🐑
Same thing happened to a Blackhawks player and one other player yet the NHL doesn’t do anything, what a fraudulent organization
People talking about a noncall, but yet Wilson will put someone in the hospital and face a 4 game suspension and $5,000 fine. Big whoop.
fehervary literally turns into the hit, no malicious intent at all, 2 minutes nothing more
This was a solid hit. Nothing you can do. Dumbass caps player was falling as the hit was coming.
absolutely awful officiating. apparently blatant hits to the head are legal? poor kid
I'm a die-hard penguins fan and even I'm wondering why that wasn't a penalty
He was finishing.. without a puck, completely unnecessary

Hope he is okay

You love to see it, dont ya folks! The kind of hit OVI and Wilson have given for years. And dale Hunter back in the day, so suck it caps.
Wilson did this 20 game suspension 20 hour penalty like…..
referees are worthless garbage. NHL that was a direct attention to the face.. he should be suspended for 10
suspendable
Clean.
Anyone who thinks this is a clean hit is either a pens fans or a fool. The initial point of contact is Fehervary’s head. Thats not clean.
He's a Capital; it's not only legal to hit Caps players in the head, it's encouraged by the league.
Disgraceful.
How come players in the 70's with no helmets and face shields didn't go down like this? They don't make em like they used to.
No penalty either
