  1. Hearing Danny Gallivan is music to my ears. I showed this to my dad, we always watched hockey together. He is 91, memory is shit now. Once he heard Gallivan, his eyes lit up. He don't remember much now but he started calling all the players, Lafluer, Robinso, Lapointe, Mahovlich, Perrault..etc.. Then he complains the picture is too dark and why it's not in HD..lol.. He don't get this is one of video's of an old game I have seen so far. Thanks for the memories

  2. At least this game is easier to see than the previous one! Thank you oilerfanatic!
(The date of the game was April 29, 1975–it fell on a Tuesday. Neither team was wearing names on their uniforms because it was on CBC in Canada instead of NBC, and some players did not wear helmets, either.)

  3. Can you add any L.A. Kings games played in 1974 (full game as originally seen on Channel 5 in Los Angeles–if they are available–particularly the first half of that year–before Wayne Gretzky, and even Marcel Dionne)?

  4. Do you have any of the preliminary round games between Toronto and Los Angeles? Been searching for this three games for years.

  5. Really hoping Oilerfanatic has some more vintage L.A. Kings games of the 70's to 80's.

  6. Two of the most purely talented and skilled players of all time here, Gilbert Perreault and Guy Lafleur!

  7. Surely one of the greatest games ever played. What I wouldn't give to watch an entire season of games from this era. Thank You for this gift of the past.

  8. Insane… so many fucking legends I can't list them because it would take mentioning 80% of the players- but I have to mention Yvon Couronyer,Guy Lafleur, Ken Dryden… Sabres: The French Connection Minus Rene The Luce Gare Ramsey line Korab, Shonefield, And everyone else!

  9. This was just before the start of the habs dynasty of the latter part of the 70s. Sabres frankly took it in this round. Too bad they lost to the Flyers . Buffalo just was not quite strong enough .

  10. Danny Gallivan memories of cold Saturday Night after playing house league hockey and watching HNIC and getting the Hab's games when the Leafs were out of town as HNIC didn't do Leaf away games.

  11. Good for the Flyers that Bernie was able to come back . And his knee wasn’t broken lol
