Kings have won 4 straight. What a rocket by Matt Roy! They beat the Ducks 2-1 at Cunda Center, and tonight 4-2. They defeated the Bluejackets, and Blackhawks at home before this game tonight (Saturday, April 23, 2022). Kings have only 2 games in reg season. They have 96 points, Vegas Golden Knights have 89 points, and 4 games left. Sharts will take on VGKs on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Las Vegas. Vegas Golden Knights still have a chance to catch the Kings.
Don't count the Kings out when they play the Oilers in 1st round. Yes, they will be underdogs & Edmonton has 2 bigtime scorers, but if the Kings' system continues to result in them having a lot more shots & attempts as during the season (rank 3rd in shots against), then we have a good chance. Plus Quickie playing like he did in 2012, 2013, & 2014, the best 3 year stretch in Kings' history, by far. No one remembers 2013 but we made the Conf Finals then, a pretty good feat of 3 yrs in a row plus 2 Cups. Now if Byfield & the young guns step up their game, aling with Quickie red hot, anything can happen…
