  1. A lot of great hockey minds in that room! Looking forward to seeing what happens this off-season

  2. Lugouo penalty gone, Halak gone, Sutter gone, I think they are going to buy out Dickenson and also are going to trade Both Boeser and Miller as highly rumoured as they have to resign Horvat soon

But they've already got that highly regarded Russian player so hopefully he is good

I want to see what they get for Boeser and Miller

  3. Also glad the Canucks have hired women in high profile jobs

Hardly any team is doing that and it's about time they do they're should be a female coach in the NHL (as long as she is qualified)

  4. This is great content guys !! We haven't seen too much from this new group in terms of on ice moves. But in this video you can see the calmness and confidence of Patrick, the down to earth knowledge and level headedness of Cammi and even further to that seeing the Sedins and the other wealth of knowledge and experience in the rooms give us a great feeling were going in a better direction that days gone. Be it total bust or future hall of famer its good to see the deliberation and process that has gone into this very difficult draft.

  5. Kevin Korchinski meets a lot of Canuck needs. So how do we move up in the draft. That's your job Jim! Now get to work.

  6. Thank you for your transparency, Canucks media team! Nice to have these behind the scene for us fans.

  7. Wow! Fascinating to see behind the scenes I've always wanted to see what happens at the Combine. Thanks to all the Canucks Staff for allowing us to sit in with them in the meetings. I have faith in the new management group. I'll sit back, let you do your job and I'll find out what the decisions are when they happen. Go Canucks Go!

  8. Hopefully we get one of these again during the actual draft. Remember one a few years ago and it was great.

  9. Step ONE, for the scouting department (pro dept.): Find a top 4 D-man to play with Hughes… This is getting REALLY, REALLY stupid watching 3rd pairing D-men playing along side one of the best talents in the league. PLEASE stop matching him up with bottom feeders. (I can't imagine what Hughes must be thinking every night, "getting" to play with the likes of Hamonic, Poolman and Benn … ugh! That'll get you up for the game, eh? (NOT).

  10. Totally Agree with this strategy. Burke took a good focus on drafting, resulting in Kesler, Burrows, And a couple Sedins.

  11. This is the kind of inside content I've been dying for from the canucks. Keep it up all season please! Follow the players and front office, a series like the B's or Pens have would be a dream.

  12. Drafting is one thing but the biggest issue is the farm. Seems like year after year we bring up guys not yet ready for the big stage (excluding the goalies, which have been excellent drafts and farming). Canucks just seem to lack strength year after year is what I'm saying.

  13. Hey guys Jimbo here. What u want to do here is trade ur first round pick for a good player with a really big huge long term contract.

That way u don't have to have all these meetings and spend more time watching young men workout.

  14. If they want to rebuild through the draft that’s great, but you shouldn’t do it while picking 15th overall and having a pretty good NHL team. I watched the Leafs do that for 20 years

  15. Can someone in management tell me how the Colorado Avalanche, was legally allowed to sign Cale Makar to an Illegal entry-level contract ? Within the same year he was drafted, he signed for $8 million/3 years. That’s illegal.

  16. When you got staff talking like robots its recipe for grave failure

  17. I think Jim Benning got caught in the numbers game as in he wanted to do it himself with not a lot of help or the Aqualinies wanted him to do it himself without a whole Lotta help
The biggest thing I see in this new management group is they actually put together a huge team of voices and knowledge, again either something JB didn’t do and/or wasn’t allowed to anyways JB is the past looking forward to the future, now if I can just be alive when the Canucks actually win a Stanley Cup 🙂

  18. For the love of god please tell me that's not Ron Delorme, is it? You want to know why this organization has been a joke the past decade, look no further than Ron Delorme. I thought this organization turned a page? Surely Ron Delorme is not still employed by a national hockey league team, is he …? This guy has made a solid living for multiple decades being a professional token who is not good at his job and that has GOT to stop. He's 66 now, fully CPP eligible, it's way past time to cut bait with Ron Delorme and move on.

  19. Doesn't skate well but has a good IQ for the game, reminds me of Ron Delorme's Brendan Gaunce pick, and look how well that turned out … For the love of god, fire Ron Delorme.
