    For the most part I agree love the “goat head” jersey (never heard anyone call it that before but makes sense that was the one of the best eras of Sabres hockey. This era also included the buffaslug era so I love that jersey too) I disagree with the red jersey I want to see that as an alternate so bad other than the 50th anniversary jersey the red is the best alternate jersey

    10. Slug (horrendous)
    9. Yellow Alternate (also horrendous, but better logo)
    8. Navy Blue (bad memories)
    7. 40th anniversary (slightly overrated by our fanbase, imo)
    6. 2018 Winter Classic (I was there in NYC for that game, coldest I’ve ever been in my LIFE)
    5. 50th Anniversary
    4. 2008 Winter Classic
    3. Red Swords Alternate (my first hockey jersey I ever owned)

    Also, in terms of bringing the goat head back as an alternate, people in Buffalo have literally been begging for it. Those jerseys were a part of some of the most exciting seasons in Sabres history and I guarantee if they brought them back, they wouldn’t be able to keep them on the shelves. (But, ya know, the Pegulas.)

    There is no better logo in Sabres history than the buffalo/bison head from the 90's.

    The top two are one of my favorite jerseys. As a Sabres fan I also want to see the goat head jerseys to come back. The only thing I would disagree on is the last jerseys. I would switch it with the jerseys that we had last season because after a while you get bored of the same typical design of the jerseys. Other than that I would rank the jerseys in the same positions as you did.

    I hate the "Goathead," or drunken sheep logo, with red eyes, for the Buffalo Sabres jersey. Poor artistry!

    Interesting fact about the goat head, if you look at it hard enough, the lines on the jersey make it look like the head of a Buffalo

    Want to like the video, because Buffalo, but want to dislike because the slug wasn't below last place.
    Just realized the horror that if we hadn't been injured like crazy, and won in '06 it would've been wearing the slug… Ugghh

    As a buffalo fan my top 3 are number 3 Navy blue number 2 50 anniversary and 1 the sheep head I love the sheep head

    Im not a buffalo fan. But if they brought back the goat head Jersey, I would buy both as well, home and away. One Eichel and one Hall.

    They need to bring back the Goathead (Leafs fan) I don’t see them bringing it back in its original colours but I believe it would still good great in the blueb

    I think the navy blue classic logo jerseys we had from like 2012-2020 should be 10th. They’re as bad as the navy blue bills jerseys.

    This is somewhat of an old video, but I wanted to say that I LOVE your channel and content. Whenever I want to watch anything about hockey, I go here! Thank you Neil. One thing I will say, is I agree with those Buffaslug jerseys. I grew up in the mid 2000s and those were "popular" around my household. I didn't see anything wrong with them and we actually bought one (Pominville) and it looked even better in person. Like you, I wish the Sabres would bring back the goat head, but I think it would look best in blue, white and gold (concepts look amazing that I've seen). Thanks again for the numerous hours of hockey entertainment and other sports. 🙂
