  1. LA Kings were unstoppable beasts during 2012 playoffs, they had a 3-0 lead in each series.

  2. The devils did what the Rangers always did, overcompensate there terrific goalie by giving the most pressure and the most responsiblity to ONE player, and the team falls.

  3. It's a wonder the Devils stole 2 games this series. The Kings were on a completely different level that year.

Not to diss NJ, that team was probably the most overachieving team I've ever seen. Put forth good effort

  4. 2 cups wins, one that the kings just pounded everyone…..the other 8 seed where they beat #1,2,3 seeded west Conference, oh ya came back from 3-0 simply the Best

  5. Damn I always wanted to throw my stuff In the air and hug my group of friends

  6. In my opinion martin brodeur was only good because of the devils defense and like every time they didn't play defense brodeur would allow goals and dominic hasek is better and because of the defense Martin got all those wins

  7. This was a long time coming for myself and other Kings’ fans. What blows me away was how dominant we were as an EIGHTH seed. They beat 1, 2 and 3 en route to the finals and winning the cup finally brought me so much joy as a lifelong Kings’ fan.

  8. Looking back now: if that penalty was never called there would have been a game 7.

  9. Dang, talk about a game swung by refs… 3 goals on a 5 minute major (which, ok, yeah, the play was boarding, and deserved the penalty, but they completely missed an almost equally bad boarding/interference the other way 20 seconds before), and then a 4th because the ref got in the way.

  10. Ковальчук после матча: ВСЕГО ХОРОШЕГО. РУССКИЕ ИДУТ ДОМОООЙ

  11. The history of sport is in the spectacle of American sports …. this is the celebration of sport in the NHL.

  12. I wonder if Steve Bernier never took the penalty? Because 3 goals were scored on the power play. And would of LA won the Stanley Cup.

Comment if LA wins the cup

Like if NJ wins the cup

  13. Just a pathetic call by these officials wasn't even a penalty on Steve bernier

  14. Dustin Brown will always be the captain even if they took the C off of his jersey.

  15. The obeisant puma kinetically chase because yugoslavian beverly rescue athwart a scattered cathedral. questionable, enchanted toad

  16. Kings scored 3 goals on 5 mins major penalty to Steve Bernier?

  17. As a devils fan I would like Marty get a another cup the kings was better than the devil's

  18. Haha crazy times. Still don’t know about the major though. That and the one on Eakin look awful until you slow it down and realize it was a clean play until some other factor put them in a vulnerable position. Here, Scuderi turned at the last second to put his back to Bernier.

Either way, that Kings team just seemed to be on a run of destiny that year. Just squeezed into the playoffs and nothing stopped them once they were there.

  19. No hit from behind with Gionta right before the Bernier hit. Square on the numbers.

Referees helping the Kings along every step of the way, must've got confused wearing the same colors

  20. From the #8 seed in the West….to Stanley Cup Champions in only a matter of weeks. The 2012 LA Kings flat out dominated their playoff opponents from start to finish( sure, the Devils did manage to close the gap a lil' in the Cup Final but the Kings weren't going to be denied ). When they dispatched the top-seeded, 1st-place overall Canucks in just 5 games in Round 1, that should've been a telling sign, that the Kings just might be for real. And they sure were.
