Let me know your thoughts on how things will go for the Leafs in 22-23
With that goaltending there's no way they are better! They would need a miracle from those 2!!
For me, the big thing is goaltending. I don't have faith in who we got until they prove it. A few other player need to step it up also
Murry also has 2 Stanley cup
I pray that it continues Tavares never see a final, much less wins a cup! Poetic justice!! Fink!
Yeah well, they put too much into padding their scoring and not worrying about defense and goaltending!
When are you doing the isles!?
Ngl I feel like this is their year
Also what messed him up is his father died he was close to him
They should have traded Nylander in the off-season and signed Evander Kane. Imagine the top line of Kane – Matthews-Marner. That would be the best line in the league. He signed for less than Nylander and is the exact player the leafs need. Letting Lyubushkin walk was foolish, the physical d-man they need. Dubass really messed up signing all these NTC or NMC contracts, it has put the leafs in a major situation. Most people learn from their mistakes, but no he signs Jarnkrok to a NTC contract. Who is helping him with these contract signings. If the leafs have no success in the playoffs all the management should be fired.
The Leafs had an excellent regular season, BUT,…….Argh!! The playoffs. This really is the make-or-break season for the Leafs, they absolutely have to have some playoff success this time or Dubas is done as GM. The major subtraction, of course, was Jack Campbell. Lots of additions, BUT, the goaltending issue has not been resolved IMHO, with Matt Murray and Samsonov as the tandem–maybe, just, maybe, Murray has an amazing bounceback year and carries the team in goal, but, it doesn't seem likely. Keeping the puck out of their net will continue to be a problem, as I'm not overly impressed with the defense group. So, are the Leafs a better team going into this season?? I'd have to say NO, but, they will make the playoffs again because of the offensive firepower——bottom line: the Leafs' season depends on the goaltending-if they play well, the team does well, and, if they don't,…….
MraZek can make a comeback, I mean his stats were good for every other year besides the year with Toronto. Maybe exposing shit D lol, or he fell off a cliff suddenly.
GO LEAFS GO!!!
I’m kinda cashed out on Nick Robertson at this point. He’s been injured a lot, which is very unfortunate for him obviously, however at this point he’s had enough stints with the Leafs that it feels like he should’ve shown something special, and he really just… hasn’t. He looks like he’s trying, but the decision making isn’t there, and he seems obsessed with shooting it into the goalies chest. I hope I’m wrong about him, because if he can get back to the form we thought he was, he’ll be a helluva player.
