The Caps are getting scary despite the so-so goaltending. Watch out 1st round opponent. The playoffs are a different animal, and speaking of animals, we all know how physical Washington can play.

2nd Avs goal being allowed was a makeup for bad calls against the Avs early. I'm kind of okay with makeup calls, but it should be when the call is close, not just completely covering their eyes on goaltender interference.

Caps played better, they deserved the victory. AV’s will be better with Kadri, Landeskog and Toews coming back for the playoffs .Hopefully they’ll sit Jack Johnson for the playoffs or dress him as a seventh defence man at the most , too slow and mistake prone .
Don't forget they're missing three key players in Landeskog, Kadri, and Toews in that game. Also the 4th game in 6 nights. Overall, not a bad performance against a hot Capitals teams, and the first regulation loss since March 23rd. Perspective… this team is still a monster.
