  1. they’re headed to houston. detroit or columbus won’t head back to the west without an all out brawl

  2. With the amount of $$$ that has been wasted to keep the Coyotes in AZ, they should've simply stayed in Winnipeg. NEVER has a pro sports franchises in any sport struggled so much with poor attendances, weak tv ratings, numerous ownership and presidential changes, drama, and as many chances to save the franchise from relocating than the AZ Coyotes. What an embarrassment for the league, and Bettman is fully responsible. Let's not forget the Coyotes were under league ownership for FOUR seasons just because Bettman stopped Jim Balsillie from relocating the Coyotes to Hamilton.

  3. They’re not moving to Canada. According to Arizona PBS, they’re relocating across town to Tempe, where their stadium will be built on a retired solid waste disposal site (not making this up).

  4. Feed me more hockey brother! This is not surprising, I mean Arizona and hockey is like LeBron and basketball. It was exciting at first, now its just old and tired. I would like to see Quebec get a team again.

  5. No way they are going back to Quebec. They left in the first place because there was no support or money. Quebec wants a team, some excitement for a while, but then same old same old, no one goes.

  6. Fuck Canada and their authoritarian government. 5 years ago I would have been all for them moving to Quebec, but not anymore. Move the team to a southern city that appreciates freedom. I vote Oklahoma City

  7. I don't think the NHL and thier ESPN lords want a small Canadian market in the league. They'll probably move to Houston. Or they could move back into the Footprint Center while they try to get a new arena in Tempe.

  8. As someone who worked for the Coyotes , I can tell you that this was not entirely unexpected. Truth is this has been talked about which is why the emphasis on moving to a more centralized location (Tempe) has been a strong point of conversation. They are not moving anywhere (they can’t by NHL rules until 2026 with new ownership coming in last year)

  9. They are not going to the east it would be an odd number and Detroit and Columbus would not go back to the west

  10. Sad , they people really got behind the Coyotes doomed by the foolish Glendale city council .

  11. cali golden seals/barons pt. two. just dissolve/fold this #kn mess bettman. Give it up Bettman. You betrayed the fans with promises of false hope and extortion tactics. And no way merullo who is dribbling checks all over town finances an arena, cont. clean-up, and the ent. district to go with it even if yotes get that plot of land. Very costly endeavour. Probably makes a false bid then drops out due to 'contamination clean-up costs.' Then its bye bye yotes.

  12. I would love to see Quebec city in there for another Canadian team but I think Kansas city or Houston will work for the U.S.

  13. Somebody like him balsalie that has deep pockets and move the team to Hamilton Copps coliseum or second team in the greater Toronto region. I heard they built a pro arena in Markham ontario

  14. Hope Coyotes move to Tempe az Arena is build 2022 in East Valley in Arizona!!! ? Be get temporary Home at Phoenix Sans or at Sun Devils University Hockey Team can Share the Arena during the 2022 season in Arizona!!!
