Seriously can the league just end the chaos that is going on with Arizona instead of continuing to pour money onto the problem?
It really breaks my heart as a fan of the Yotes. Just nothing but misery after misery for this team.
I honestly think it’s time for Gary Bettman and the NHL to stop acting like that dog in a burning room acting like everything is fine when it’s not.
The Coyotes moving into a 5000 seat facility is a bad look for the NHL. Team needs to either fully move or fold operations. Except Mr. Bettman has apparently sold his soul to keep the Coyotes alive, so they'll likely stay where they are.
Good news for Coyotes fans, tickets are only $10.00/seat. Bad news, beer and peanuts $55.00.
The Coyotes should try playing games in Saskatoon. There is an arena that is comparable to Winnipeg. Even if they fill that 5000 seats every game that's a third of what would happen in places like Saskatoon, Houston, Quebec City, and even Hartford.
The most surprising thing about this story is that ASU has its own ice hockey arena.
Couldn't Yotes temporarily stay in the arena of the Phoenix Suns?
College kids aren’t gonna go to coyotes games unless they get significant discounts, which the team isn’t going to be able to afford. For the love of hockey just move this disaster of a franchise.
I think they want to move to Tempe to show the interest in the East Valley for fans. This is a good idea for both the University and Coyotes to be honest. I live here and it would strengthen the relationship to the hockey community in Arizona. Also, it would take me like 10 mins to go to games. This is way better than the 1 hour drive to Gila River.
Nothing odd about it, Shannon. The NHL is incompetent and have been for a couple decades now.
So, why exactly should the NHL and NHLPA agree to Arizona playing from the ASU rink for at least 3 years?? For the good of both, surely they would think it better to move the team to Houston, an NHL ready arena with a hockey history and owner who wants to bring a team to his city. Moving them just makes so much more sense rather than clinging on to the slim and ever more desperate hopes of staying in AZ.
Quebec will never get another NHL team so they might as well suck it up and get the fuck over it !
Until they get back to downtown Phoenix they will be doomed. No ifs or buts about it. They were fools to leave downtown Phoenix just to save a few short-term nickels on construction costs.
Let’s go Arizona coyotes 🏜🐕
Love the channel and your work is underrated!
Could you do a video or segment on the Coyotes 2022 draft situation and how the conditional picks play out with the likely finishings of those teams?
As a caps fan I would take fluery in a heartbeat he’s a playoff veteran and we have like four goalies rn we could trade around
The Meruelo Cult's death chant rings throughout Eris-Zona this day…
ZonA Dogs have taken $um positive steps too
The mascot will be an active player
The opening Face off will be dropped by a lucky fan whom will get to drop all subsequent face offs as well
Local labour Laws will not interfere with the water boy actually serving as the asst coach
Concessions will take a giant leap upwards HOWEVER the Dogs will be taking a 50% cut on the Uber Eats App
And the team bud is inserting sum really nice camping cots in lieu of higher road trips costs
The goalie will be pulled with 2 minutes remaining in all home games to get the goalie gear back to the rental agency in time
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST – goal judges will be working from home with the Bud Lite Goal System in place !!!
Bruh just move them already
Again the arrogantly selfish public funded stadium owners throw a tantrum. This is the result. They would rather tank a fans committed financial loyalty than show that they (ownership) has deep pockets. Total petulant organization. Oh, don’t forget blackouts on your game feed if you haven’t purchased (or can afford) another subscription. City of Phoenix wont attempt to open up the sun’s stadium due to a poorly “negotiated” public funded building
No city has ever benefited being partners with privately held sports teams. Total shame & screw the blindly committed fan…
Oh,
Lets not forget the nhl & yotes “commitment” to growing the game in the valley. Asu’s old barn will be bladed. Thats one more sheet gone. . Glendale wont keep their sheet open for weekly kids teams/games. Yotes will take more sheets away from the kids in order to praky & host. Prices will click up to play.
Lastly, the last news about the yotes and the city of Glendale was over LATE payment of roughly 1.3 million in BACK TAXES. The yotes pay more in salary to its players (and staff )than they did to Glendales in missing payments
One has to ask themselves
Who is to blame here.
Another interesting fact. The ticket prices for this smaller arena will be $89 compared to $55 in Glendale. LOL!!!
