  1. Don't expect this team to make the playoffs obviously but still think it'll be a fun team to watch. Very young, skilled team with a new offensive-minded head coach. Can't wait for the season to start.

  2. Feel like this will be yet another building block year for the Jackets, a young fresh start team with some returnees, where they won't be dead last but will still miss the playoffs. Except this time, they actually have prospect depth and not everyone out there already. This is definitely not a basement rebuild, the lineup is already better than they were last year.

  3. This season, which could be their final season in Columbus, the Blue Jackets will finish dead last in the Metropolitan Division with a 7-72-3 record. On December 10, John P. McConnell will sell the Blue Jackets to a Hartford-based group led by real estate broker Ben Castonguay and hedge fund manager Cliff Asness for $850 million. On January 13, 2022, John’s deal to sell the Blue Jackets to a Hartford-based group will be finalized. On May 17, 2022, NHL commissioner Gary Bettman and a Hartford-based group will hold a press conference at the XL Center in Hartford to announce the completion of a deal to purchase the Blue Jackets. On June 21, 2022, the NHL’s Board of Governors will approve both the sale and relocation of the Blue Jackets in a unanimous vote. Next season, the Blue Jackets will relocate to Hartford to become the revived Hartford Whalers and begin play at the XL Center.

  4. I think the Jackets done well with the Jones trade yeah they lost but they did really well with the return

  5. They’re probably going to be at the bottom of the division next year, but they’ve done a great job with their moves. Boqvist, Bean, and Werenski can be pretty good in a couple of years if they get some top prospects.

  6. Kinda like coming into this season without any expectations. Definitely makes it more fun as a fan lol. I don’t see playoffs for the Jackets this year but I do like the direction the roster is headed and I think it’ll be an improved year overall

  7. I thought they did good with the Chicago trade a 1st round pick and Adam Bobqvist along with a another pick….um not bad

  8. looking at center depth…..yikes , I know there is hope with Sillinger , maybe Johnson but that's a few years down the road, I expect Laine to be gone at the TD …. yeah it will be that bad

  9. As a blue jackets fan I just want us to do better than last year even if we don’t make the playoffs LETS GO JACKETS
