  1. Wow, Cancucks have a solid top 6 (Minus Miller due to the unknown): Petey, Boeser, Horvat, Hoglander, Garland, Kuzmenko, Mikheyev, Pods.

  2. As long as goalies continue to be fooled by his one breakaway move and muffin shot, he’ll succeed. It’d be funny if he just turned into Loui Eriksson lite.

  3. Having moved from Guelph to Vancouver a couple of years ago it's nice to see him sign in Vancouver. I really hope the Canucks have a good season this year.

  4. This reeks of when Rutherford got Kapanen.

He’s really fast…and then nothing happens. He scored this year but idk if that’s going to happen here. He brings speed which is nice I guess…

  5. One third of the Leafs Short Track Speed skating Team is gone.

  6. slightly overpaid but hes fast, good penalty kill, puts up some points. Overall good deal

  7. Canucks got 3 Russians that have the potential to hit the 20 goal mark. You know Bruce will let those guys play together. Love that the Canucks are going for speed and skill 👌

  8. Yup, losing a good 2 way player and goal scorer yet the Leafs keep the useless bum Wayne Simmonds around who does absolutely nothing and cant even keep up with the other players. Comical

  9. Canucks all in on the All-Russian 3rd line: Podz, Mik & Kuz? Teach Vasily to play center and make this Russian Machine thing work

  10. If McDavid ever tries to run away this is the guy I'm sending after him. Bad boys bad boys, what cha gonna do?

  11. I am bummed to see him leave, and he is good player, useful in bottom 6, that seems like too much though.

  12. If Benning was in charge he’d be signing a bunch of 4th line North American ex-plumber bums for 4 years at 3 million dollars per. Glad new management is not making the same mistake.

  13. Sorry to see him go he was a good play maker and fast ,,he made things happen when he was on the ice

  14. Good on the Canucks, Mikheyev has a good skill set. A perfect third liner for a contending team. The Leafs seem to have never seen it. After the dumb Kadri trade, I just don't buy the salary cap excuse.

  15. Doesn’t sound good. I feel like this will be a benning move that handcuffs us.

  16. reminds me of pavel bure in that it took a couple of seasons for his hands to catch up to his feet. used on the PK a lot so his 21 goals is impressive and vancouver seems to be a place where players reach their skill potential.

  17. So, why are we happy again? Our goaltending situation is not better than what it was a week ago, it could possibly be worst, we picked up 4 bags of pucks meaning leftovers from way better teams Audette and Mete couldn't even make the Sens, Jordie Benn, wow and that guy from the AVs…. After this loss to the Canucks are we better than last year???

  18. I really liked the idea of Mikheyev coming here before I ever even heard a rumour but I thought hed be a 4-5m dollar player and that would preclude the Canucks signing him. Id love to see him on the 2nd line with Horvat, but the Canucks have too manywingers right now, unless they plan on going Miller, Petterson, Horvat down the middle and rolling 3 lines with similar minutes.
