    I agree with your number one, I love that jersey. My one complaint about it has always been that I wish the name plate was different though. Possibly just orange letters directly on the black jersey, the orange box has always felt a little clumsy to me.

    My favorite is the 2017 stadium series jersey as well. The 2012 winter classic is really nice as well

    oh man, the 2012 winter classic is my absolute favorite flyers jersey. And yeah, the 2010 winter classic was new at the time and they basically made it their permanent away jersey afterwards

    I love their black thirds as well. Currently own a konecny game worn in that style. Imo their orange jerseys make them look like traffic cones.

    I’ve been waiting for this and I have some thoughts.
    1. Personally I don’t like black Flyers jerseys because the logo does not POP as much as it does on a white or orange field.
    1a. The black logo, gloves, helmet, and pants really stand out when the jersey and socks are mostly orange and white.
    2. The 06-07 time period needs to be burned and erased from our history.
    3. The current Adidas set is very nice. My one complaint it the collar treatment on the white jersey. In fact I would’ve bought a white one if the collar was the inverse of the orange version. I opted for the orange.
    4. Name plates. There’s a history there and some beauty in the error. In the 70’s in one of the Cup Finals they played in, the league (or the tv network, whoever!) said the player names must be on the uniforms. Philly only had name plates at the time for white jerseys and had to slap them onto orange jerseys. I think that created a cool tradition, BUT I think the name plates should be the same for both the current orange and current white. The result would be black letters on a white field for the white jersey. I think it honors the history, and looks better than an arbitrary black name plate.

    The 1967 – '70 jersey of the Philadelphia Flyers would be the best version from the Philly series, number 6 on your rankings, prior to the mid-to-late-1970's notorious "Broad Street Bullies."

    Yes! The black stadium series is beautiful! It's my favorite flyers jersey of all-time! My second favorite is the 2012 Winter classic Orange, cream and black jersey. My third would be the second stadium series the all orange and black, the whiteless jersey
