Les coyotes sont actuellement les prédateurs de bétail les plus abondants dans l’ouest de l’Amérique du Nord, causant la majorité des pertes de moutons, de chèvres et de bovins. Par exemple, selon le National Agricultural Statistics Service, les coyotes étaient responsables de 60,5 % des 224 000 décès de moutons attribués à la prédation en 2004. Le nombre total de décès de moutons en 2004 représentait 2,22 % de la population totale de moutons et d’agneaux aux États-Unis. , qui, selon le rapport du National Agricultural Statistics Service USDA, totalisaient respectivement 4,66 millions et 7,80 millions de têtes au 1er juillet 2005. Parce que les populations de coyotes sont généralement plusieurs fois plus importantes et plus largement réparties que celles des loups, les coyotes causent plus de prédation globale pertes. Les agents du gouvernement américain tirent, empoisonnent, piègent et tuent régulièrement environ 90 000 coyotes chaque année pour protéger le bétail. Les coyotes se mordent généralement la gorge juste derrière la mâchoire et sous l’oreille lorsqu’ils attaquent des moutons ou des chèvres adultes, la mort résultant généralement de la suffocation. La perte de sang est généralement une cause secondaire de décès. Les veaux et les moutons fortement tondus sont tués en attaquant les flancs ou l’arrière-train, provoquant un choc et une perte de sang. Lors de l’attaque de proies plus petites, comme les jeunes agneaux, la mise à mort se fait en mordant le crâne et les régions de la colonne vertébrale, causant des dommages massifs aux tissus et aux os. Des proies petites ou jeunes peuvent être complètement emportées, ne laissant que du sang comme preuve d’une mise à mort. En l’absence de harcèlement des coyotes pratiqué par les populations rurales, les coyotes urbains perdent leur peur des humains, qui est encore aggravée par les personnes qui nourrissent intentionnellement ou non des coyotes. Dans de telles situations, certains coyotes ont commencé à agir de manière agressive envers les humains, pourchassant les joggeurs et les cyclistes, confrontant les gens promenant leurs chiens et traquant les jeunes enfants. Les coyotes non enragés dans ces régions ciblent parfois les jeunes enfants, la plupart âgés de moins de 10 ans, bien que certains adultes aient été mordus.     The only issue i have is the two or three you wounded and didnt hit again. One of the main concerns in a job like this is doing it humanely you seem to do quite well with that but when you fail a priority should be placed on ensuring the animals suffering ends as quickly as possible.
    Wish we didnt have to hire people like you for this but these animals are dangerous. And i certainly couldn't do it, too squeamish about killing doglike animals

    In my state up north we hunt but not coyote, if we do encounter one it's kill on sight, mostly I try to scare them away but bet I'm shooting it if I see one close, so far I only seen one

    Selfish destructive humans at work greed over nature as usual but Mother nature always gets the last laugh, this is how we treat each other at work anyhow. I feel these are just excuses to shoot and kill something, that's alot of coyotes down as if it will not affect the eco system in the future somhow

    Hey doubt you will see this but since you asked a few ways to get rid of cyote is with small traps and relocation as well as a pellet gun them bitches hurt and yes it would be a garentee the thing never comes back after few shots u am garentee also just curious how do they kill the cows or is mainly just young ones? Cause I see them being able to kill a little one but a big one I don't see it. Also you could leave meat with traqizers you could also make a shock trap that only the cyotes can get shocked they won't come back I get it one is very simple possible only a few cents per dog thing but I mean taking an animals life for your own convenience is just messed up and you litterally can't me that the bible and God and shit witch I don't believe in has rules against this and you will %100 have to answer to your own action like foreal that you cannot argue with if your religious you god will punish you
