    i like what he said about ryan johnson, he is truly a workhorse. I think he can recover soon and even possibly be back in round 1, he's the type of guy who will still lay it on the line for the team even if he's not 100% yet, just like the time he played through with his broken finger all the way through the playoffs. i love him.

I am from Toronto but Don Cherry really needs to focus more on other Canadian teams like the Canucks, Habs, and Flames than the Bruins and Toronto….maybe next year Canucks…as for Toronto maybe my future children will see a Toronto stanley…maybe…

    Don is exactly right, and for all of the great things Gillis has done this offseason, he's making a huge mistake not bringing RJ back. The guy is an injury problem and isn't as good as he used to be, but who blocks shots on this team now?

    Once Don Cherry stops calling Luongo "lalongo", I'll be happy to see Don Cherry compliment the Canucks. I understand if he doesn't watch Western Conference games and makes a mistake with his name, but to constantly do it even after he was on the Olympic gold-medal winning team? C'mon Don.
    As for RJ, I've always liked that guy and wish there were more players like that not only on the Canucks but other NHL teams as well. I wish Gillis re-signed him…

    Unfortunatley Jhonson never put up any points. But he is the definition of playing with your heart on your sleeve. The guy is a hockey player to the bone.
