  1. How do they record this without acknowledging the Eichel issue with the Sabres? It’s very similar and oddly ironic

  2. People are talking about Vegas missing the playoffs but fail to mention that the oilers, king and flames all got better and the knights did not. It’s not fair to blame injuries alone. The Eichel trade has been a disaster. Management has made mistakes and are paying for it now.

  3. Vegas management is a joke. (I might go so far as calling them cheaters)

You would think professional broadcasters would be calling out the BULLSHIT in Las Vegas, not humming and hawing about this crap.

  4. Lehner is a headcase. Always has been. I dont blame a coach who can see through his crap. The game he was pulled after one goal most likely happened because the players dont play for lehner.

  5. According to MoneyPuck, Vegas only has a 1.3% chance to make the playoffs. They could win out and it will very likely not matter at this point. Serves them right for treating their players so poorly, and for completely disrespecting Marc-Andrew Fleury, one of the most decorated and beloved players in the entire NHL by pretty much everyone. They've honestly treated Lehner pretty poorly as well recently – skewering him in press conferences despite the sacrifices he made for the team. Vegas management has really screwed this team up with all the trades and culture changes they have made. They have completely lost their identity. I think Buffalo fleeced them too. I personally can't wait for the meltdowns and firings during the off-season.

  6. Vegas management whenever a goalie becomes even slightly disappointing:

"FIRE HIM INTO THE SUN!!! Did I say I wanted picks and prospects to come back in the deal??? No, I did not."

  7. Buffalo gave up a chance to pick "Thomas Chabot", for Lehner – worst trade in Sabres history!!

  8. Vegas made the big mistake by giving up Fleury. Eichel was a trade made for next season and years to come. Vegas need a goalie for the future, I don't think Lehner is that man.

  9. The main reason I don't particularly like Vegas is their treatment of their players.Maybe a team like Edmondton could use him next season or maybe Vancouver and split the games with Demcko.

  10. Vegas fans have been spoiled by early success of an expansion team! This is not the norm. Fans better get used to lean years as they have to rebuild, like all pro sports teams do. And if you have an impatient owner, it's gonna be worse. Happy lean years, Vegas fans!

  11. I'd get rid of both DeBoer and Lehner. Neither one are who I'd want to be building a championship team around.

DeBoer is great at making a team really good, really fast and then tanking them just as fast – witness San Jose. And Lehner is just too erratic and injury prone.

  12. If he’s done with the knights for the love of god please send him back to long island. We would happily take him back

  13. Which group is better today tomorrow and in the future?

Fleury, Gallant, Tuch, Krebs, 1st, 2nd, Suzuki, Tatar

    Lehner, DeBoer, Eichel, Paciorriety

  14. What are they going to do with him, buy him out? Aint no team want him, and especially don't want that contract! Good luck VGK, you're stuck with him. LMAO!

  15. Look at Flower showin out with the Wild. I feel like Lehner can perform with the weight on his shoulders alone. He needs a guy to challenge him for the crease for him to get his game on point. That is why he did so well in the bubble and last season when Fleury and him won the Jennings. If dude was injured then that's on mgmt for going about it the wrong way. Lehner is a great goalie when he's got something to lose, but injured and being shown up by the rook really affected his confidence.

  16. Lehner falls out with another coach. Claims he's being asked to play through injury. Starting to sound awfully familiar. Maybe the coach isn't the problem here.

  17. the history of the GM in Vegas is Identical to his head coaching days in WHL. Had a team 55 n 11 and lost round 1. 8 seasons he gets the title last yr of his coaching as head coach . Thing is this gm is trading parts that don't need to be traded . When you have chemistry you keep it not break it up . Sure we have injuries but the length of them , the amount of players and the top players out so you try n use the best you have. WEll they did you ask me. They called up so many players and the organization all the way down looks kinda deep and some guys filled in but so n so came back we let em go down but move these guys up if you move guys out . I also feel eichel doesn't play 1st or 2nd line cuz those lines were already put together so I make em 3rd line cuz cry baby needs to earn his way up .. AS coach Herb Brooks would say.. It's the name on the front that is important not the one on the back

  18. Mgmt won't tell him but he will be replaced on short notice. They call it the Fleury tactic; seems to work out well.
