1. The low ball offer was 7.5M and to be fair that isn’t really a low ball offer in a normal season he’s worth like 8.5M to 9M

  2. Why does the game in the background look like shit? Fix your tv picture or something. God nhl 20 is a dumpster fire

  3. If I'm an Arizona fan… I don't even really want my team to re-sign Hall. It's going to take at least $7.5 million, probably on a 7 or 8 year deal. Like you said, Hall has had 1 exceptional season in his career. It was an incredible season I'll give him that. But that's it. Whoever signs Hall is going to seriously regret that contract in 2-3 years IMO.

  4. I mean I wouldn’t give Hall big bucks because whatever team he’s on it never works, he’s like a momentum killer

  5. taylor hall will be the worst signing this offseason. worst contract in the league in 3-4 years

  6. Hall will probably be asking for a 7-8yr deal at no less than $9mil/yr.
I like Hall and think he is a very good player, but $9.5mil/yr would be my best offer to him. He isn't a "carry a team on his back" type of player. He can be the missing piece for a perennial playoff team. Arizona should go after him. I know Buffalo isn't a perennial contender..but Hall would be the help Eichel needs to possibly take the next step. Columbus would be interesting. Dallas as well…. Nashville could def use Hall…Islanders as well..
Imagine the Penguins could make it happen? Or St.Louis?
    If Vancouver can dump Erickson…
Maybe they could make a run

  7. I think when Kuemper will stay healthy all season long, Hall will play like in 2017/18 season, Kessel will play like in his early Pens years and then Keller, Ekman-Larsson, Stepan, Schmaltz, Chychrun, Hayton … will play their best as well this team can win their division maybe even more

  8. I like Taylor Hall and think he's a great player but he's a few months from 29 and will probably get paid for 7 years for what he is worth a year at this time. ie 8 mill x7 or something… no thanks.

  9. To me, beginning negotiations without my agent, or the GM present is a total disregard for the process, and should immediately raise red flags. As much as Hall loves Arizona, he should exercise some caution. If I were the GM, I would be pissed the president/CEO stepped in to do my job and undermine my responsibilities in Hall's negotiations.

  10. 7.5 is actually quite generous for someone who's always injured and has lost everywhere he has been. I think 7.5 is right on the money.

  11. I more often than not take your thoughts pretty seriously, but this video felt like making news out of nothing. Arizona is beautiful and now home to one of hockey’s biggest personalities in Biz and therefore the whole chiclets crew in many ways(which expands their fan base), it’s still a $50mil+ contract in a flat cap, and coaches and agents are incredibly expendable. If the GM really wants him, he will give Hall a lot of power in decision making. Especially during the era of uncertainty, the pandemic, it just seems like a business man and smart adult creating certainty in a world that lacks it.

  12. I really want a line with hall-crosby-jake, he was almost in the burgh b4 we picked up zucker !! And we could have the most lethal 1 2 punch lines with our 2nd being rust -malkin-zucker !! Also pens has been in the playoffs 14 record times, and any winger would love to play on a line with either malkin or crosby !!

  13. Halls not as good as kane or artemi, but marnier, but would be worth it for about 7 mil.

  14. That's called UNREFINED! If I was Hall I would WALK AWAY from Arizona! Hit the free agent get his WORTH! I never thought he was a fit in Arizona

  15. If you saw what happened with Darren Ferris and Mitch Marner and the Leafs you will know exactly why they wouldn’t want the agent involved….wouldn’t it be something if Hall signed in Arizona then in 5 years Matthews goes back home, Matthews and Hall would make decent line mates I think if they get the proper gritty winger

  16. Face it whoever signs Taylor Hall is going to end up overpaying by 1.5-2M.
Looking just at sheer point production you mentioned this Hall is WELL under a point per game player on average if not for his ONE good year he’d be So far under point per game wise. He’s much closer to Nylanders production as Opposed to a Matthews or a Marner which are pretty mich point per game+ players. Nylanders at 7.5 , Matthews 11.6. Considering Hall has won a Hart and a flat cap he’s probably worth 8.5 unfortunately any team who signs him is going to end up paying 9.5+ just the nature of free agency and clearly Hall will not live up to that amount of money… he’s had one good year… if I were teams I’d be staying clear of this negotiation

  17. Hopefully Hall stays away from the AVS. Sakic is a smart GM, the AVS don't need him. He sounds like Duchene..

  18. If anyone thinks Taylor hall isn’t getting 9 or 10 mil needs to wake up. He’s a great player who produces and teams are desperate, in all likelihood he’ll be overpaid.

  19. Hall is 29, his prime is behind him, maybe 3 years left before he really start his decline. I would never give this guy an 8 years deal. Hall has been a cancer for every team he played for. In 2019-2020, NJ got better after they traded him while the Coyotes fell off the map with him in their line up. If someone give him 8 or 9 millions for 7 or 8 years, this contract will be featured in all the worst contract ever future videos…

  20. Taylor should have ordered the lobster, had one sip of one of the most expensive bottle of wines, gently wiped the corners of his mouth with the fancy cloth napkin, and left. It’s a power/intimidation move to talk to the player without representation present during negotiations. It’s also bull$#!+.

  21. Hall doesn't seem to fit in with the Coyotes as his stats there showed. It's better they go separate ways.
