i notice there seems to be a drop off in performance among players as time goes on in vegas. maybe accountability IS a factor in a players performance.

I haven’t heard this yet. The center position is stacked, not exactly talent wise, but with Eichel, Karlsson, Stephenson, then maybe Howden, Roy, Patrick if he ever returns, etc. Stastney returning would probably get stuck playing on the wing since Vegas doesn’t really have any strong left wingers outside of Marchessault.

Speaking theoretically if I was an NHL quality player, from the outside looking in…… The only way Vegas would get me too sign with the perceived mismanagement……. I would need the bag! Even if as a goalie my highest likely hood to sign on a team would be Vegas
Peter Stastny was the lead up to the Sakic era. Stastnys' and Hunter, Cloutier and all the rest of the Nordiques vs the Canadiens, before Quebec trades Hunter to Washington for a 1st round pick (ends up being Mr Sakic), Peter Stastny was the walk on with his other brother, only 1 brother was drafted.
Paccoretti and Stastny both have had better day's time to retire . Were not worth the payroll when in Vegas . Paccorretti 7.5 mill and Stastny 6.00 mill when in Vegas . No thank you . Patch's is done missed most of last year hurt and will be out again for most of this year . Stastny is not the same either hang em up it's time .

I believe that the problem with the Knights in my opinion is the management group. Start with the GM and work down. They have had three coaches in 5years. Knights traded away players that the fans loved for nothing. Other fan bases don't like how they treat current players, by targeting every 'Shinny New Toy'. Good Luck to Stastny.
