  1. Dallas and Oettinger surpassed everybody's expectations in this series. What a fight.

  2. Flames fan here, glad they won but I have to give mad props to Oettinger. Goal Tender has always been favorite position in hockey and watching that guy play is nothing short of magical. My favorite of all time was Belfour, and this kid has the talent to even match him. What an awesome game and I feel bad for Oettinger getting an impossible shot put on him to lose it like that, but Go Flames GO! Beat Edmonton next!

  3. As a Flames fan, I can only say what an incredible 7 days Oetinger had, the kid has a bright future ahead of him

  4. Oettinger deserves a ton of credit, almost singlehandedly willed his team to victory, but I'm so glad Johnny came through in the clutch for us. LFGF 🔥💪

  5. The Dallas goalie reminded me of Roy in 86. For a while I thought Dallas was going to score on an odd rush and end it.

  6. Who fuggin cares. How about some of these spoon fed little momas boys that dont even know their own pant size forfeit their hugely inflated wages so the rest of society can afford gasoline. How bout dat huh!!!

  7. The handshake line at the end of the Flames Oilers series won't be this congenial.

  8. Im a flames fan, but hot damn did the stars make that one hell of a series, especially Oettinger. That last impossible save he made blew my mind. Glad all the Calgary fans were showing him love as he was leaving the ice. He was MVP across both teams and there is no question about it. GG stars!
Cant wait to watch the battle of Alberta

  9. THIS is part of what makes our sport of hockey the BEST in all of pro sports BAR NONE.. And go Calgary it’s been much too long since 1989.

  10. Incredible game (and series) by Oettinger, but in the comment section everyone seem to have forgotten history and, IMHO, projects his career a bit to far.
He might very well be a superstar, but he might just as well not. I wish him the best though.

  11. Oettinger was by far the MVP of this series. As for the Flames, I believe they should give Tkachuk the C, I think it would fit him best amongst their current roster

  12. Great game.
Unfortunate the LEAGUEC got into it and chicken shitted DALLAS.

  13. 1:10
Klingberg: 'Se till å vinna den här skiten nu. Gå hela vägen för fan.'
Markström: 'Aa för fan. Det vet du.'

  14. No other sports handshakes like this. Despite all rivalries once the series is over, it’s all respect.

  15. What a series, I love the NHL playoffs. Oettinger played out of his mind and deserves all the recognition he is getting and then some. Love seeing the respect from players and coaches after battling hard for 7 games.

  16. The goalie handshake maybe the best part of line, they never come face to face in the game, yet they see every shot their team throws at the other. Stay one the ice from puck drop the final whistle. They know each other hell goes through for that 60 minutes.

  17. What a first round! The majority of them were coin flips! 😱😱😱😍😍😍😍

  18. Been a mega Stars fan since 93. Razor said it best, “some franchises search for decades for a goaltender like Oettinger.” This series was never supposed to go 7 games but that 23 year old kept this team in it until the bitter end. In the end the better team won. Hats off to the Flames for an amazing first round.

  19. That Dallas was able to extend to 7 is all on Oettinger, let's hope his career is a long and storied one.

  20. I am proud every member from the Flames paid their respects to Oettinger during the handshakes after the game. They know like all of us knows that Oettinger at only 23 years old has a very bright future ahead of him. Dallas better keep him for many years to come. He will help a team win a Stanley Cup in the future.

  21. Жалко Даллас, но кто то должен уступить дорогу…спасибо им за серию дали бой фавориту,которому предвещали более лёгкий сценарий в серии…!))

  22. The best part of Otter's performance… his contract is up this season. With that showing he's got to be asking for one hell of a deal and he'll deserve every penny.

  23. This is what separates hockey from the other big sports, the formal handshake line after a playoff series!

  24. The fact Oettinger is a young goalie is what scares me. Freakin amazing.

And Markstrom was a beast in this whole thing as well. They’ll need him against Edmonton.

  25. That goalie was an absolute god words can't describe I thought he was going to break my heart but lord johnny shot a beautiful placed left snipe to win and I ran like a small child throughout my house.

  26. As a Flames fan. I paid full repsect to Oettinger. Hes will have a bright future. Whoever pick him up in the UFA market make sure pay him well.

  27. What Sutter did for Gaudreau is remarkable. He taught him how to check and play both ends of the ice. He was so proud of Johnny, great moment to see.

  28. Markstrom's eyes got noticeably wider when he shook Oettinger's hand. Can't read lips but you could obviously tell he was mega-impressed with his counterpart on the other end. Both netminders were insanely good this series.

  29. honestly respect to the whole organization of calgary. oettinger gets off the ice and the fans giving him thumbs up is great. i feel for him like crazy i can’t imagine what standing on ur head like that is like. so glad they played a team like calgary who is able to recognize greatness when they see it. awesome

  30. I wish I could say it was one persons fault that Dallas lost but I can't. They just couldn't score much. Jake Oettinger is the best goalie in the league. Calgary had 63 shots on goal and for only 3 of them to get in the net? That is absolutly incredible!! Oettinger couldn't have done more.
