This could be potentially a steal. He's a Swedish born sniper who I understand plays for the Giants, so he'll be in town and he'll be able to work with the Sedins. On that level, I really like this pick. The only knock I've seen of the guy besides not being huge is his skating, but as we've seen from Bo, that can be taught, if you have the desire. And his favourite player is Pettersson. I know Lambert was the sexy pick, but those don't always pan out, especially mid-1st round. Well, we'll see. He's not even 18, so he has a lot of time to grow into something and apparently he's going to do it close to home. I'm all for that.
