Montreal basically had the league rigged for them for god knows how many years. For you morons out there, "The Canadians had the territorial first choice of anyone with French Canadian descent." Back then the only players in the NHL were Canadian and the odd American. Think of today if the Boston Celtics had the first "territorial" choice of anyone with African-American descent. Basically Montreal drafted first overall every year. What a bag job

  2. As a Flyers Fan I Don't Like The Bruins But Their History is So Amazing Like The Other Original 6 Teams Before the 67 Expansion When The Flyers Came Along Go Flyers Bruins Suck!

  3. LOL the bruins would be nothing without Canadian players. Your welcome Boston.

  4. anybody know where to buy that sweater with the old school colors they have in the interviews

  5. 'If u say new york im jumpimg out the window- sorry would be much worse for bruins fans if you were in a monteal or philly uni phil (specially they reguarly beat the bruins back then)

  6. I CAN"T believe Scotty Bowman's new book doesn't include the Bruins as one of his greatest teams; he included the Black Hawks of Toews and Kane. Either it's because it was Stan Bowman's team, or the fact that the B's were his archrivals.

  7. I remember game 7, 1988 vs New Jersey ( the "have another donut, you fat pig" series ); center gets kicked out of the faceoff circle. Bourque skates in for, likely , his first NHL faceoff. He pointed out where he wanted Rick Middleton, won the draw to him , and Middleton put it in the net.

  8. It’s so crazy no player would take the option to wear head gear. Or it wasn’t even thought of much

  9. It’s crazy how many Stanley cups the bruins have lost. So many cups they could have had

  10. Amazing documentary. If you are a B’s fan I definitely recommend

  11. "So I.. I called bobby and boy Bobby was ticked so he met me in the hall and so I knocked on the door and Phil.." Don Cherry on the day when the Bruins trade Phil to the rangers and Bobby Orr wasn't pleased.

  12. "If you tell me New York, I'm going to jump out that window!" Phil Esposito after he got traded from the Boston Bruins to the New York Rangers that November 1975 morning and Phil wasn't pleased about being traded away at all and neither was Bobby Orr too. Don Cherry told Bobby to "Get away from that window." What a comical line from former Bruins coach don Cherry.
