  1. As a Flames fan I really dislike the Avalanche, good job by Joe Sakic though.

On the Overtime goal who is the defenceman on the ice for Calgary? Oliver Killington, who demonstrates what patience, resilience, and self awareness is all about: overcoming adversity with grace and class.

  2. My goodness that announcers game winning goal calls are cringe.

  3. what an unbelievable play by makar from back in his own end to set up colorados third goal. he deserves the norris for that play alone. wow :0

  4. As much as I despise the flames, they are going to be very tough come playoff time. They are well balanced between toughness and scoring ability.

  5. Not very consequential, but did anyone else notice they missed counting one of the shots on the opening goal? Quite clearly three saves and then the goal, yet a couple of minutes of game time later it said they had only three shots.

  6. last week or so – NHL games are full of surprises – lower place teams beating high ranked teams( maybe they are relaxing a little0 but wow – 8 -0 games – – very high amt of goals lately

  7. Playoff style atmosphere, this was a very entertaining game from two juggernauts. Also, that 2nd Avs goal was Burakovsky, not Mikko.

  8. Great game, just annoyed that I knew the results at minute 0 because I recognized the biased Avs announcers weren't commentating the home game

  9. Monahan though, up there with Jeff Skinner in terms of stealing a salary. He's worth about 1 million and is a 3rd line player at best after his injury.

  10. Brutal officiating as per usual. Goalie interference on first and plain interference on second Avs goal.
