  1. Makes me smile the whole time watching this video. Also, from a lifelong Detroit Redwings fan – I tip my hat to the Maple Leafs fans and players – you treated the man well and you enjoyed a rare spectacle that transcended the score or outcome of the game.

  2. Just wanted to come here and watch this after the Leafs choked in the playoffs yet again. How long has this team been a joke?

  3. this may be one of the coolest things in all of sports. im not even that big of a hockey fan to

  4. That has to be so agonizing. Being an emergency goalie for your hometown team but end up having to play for the opponent against them and also having the game in your hands

  5. “The highest he’s played is Junior B, which is the step below Junior A”

“Cheers Jeff, now back to the studio”

  6. Even with 2 goals against, this stud would go on to make 8 more saves throughout the rest of the game! What a night for Ayres

  7. One very lucky man .. we still use this game to poke jabs at leaf fans lol

  8. Very impressive that he held up so well after that rough start (which was hardly his fault, those were just great shots.)
You would think his confidence would shatter after that!
