Let me know your expectations for the Preds this off-season
I get that the Preds are nervous about term for Forsberg because of Duchene/Johannsson, but unlike those two, he's been a consistent producer and loyal soldier for years now. Give him essentially what he wants (within reason) maybe 8.5M x 7, and stop fooling around. Tennesee has a very low state tax rate, so hopefully Forsberg's reps are considering that. Have to wonder about the team's scouting dept. They generally don't trade picks, yet seem to have no prospects anywhere near NHL ready. Team had a better season than expected, so it would really be bad if they regressed because they decided to pinch their pennies on Forsberg.

The Predators had a good season, just a shame Saros got hurt and couldn't play in the playoffs–GF and GA were OK, the PP was really good and the PK was average. Of the RFAs, I expect they will all be tendered offers. Of course, on the UFA front, resigning Forsberg is an absolute must. The other UFAs are not likely to return, with the exception of Cousins, whom they might resign, and we already know Dave Rittich won't be back. The Predators can't afford to lose Forsberg's offense at this point; if he goes elsewhere, it will be a huge hit and they may regress in the standings. Will be very interesting to see if they get Forsberg signed and what other moves they make.
Hoping the isles can grab Forbsberg
Duchene is NOT as good as the stats he had this year….trust me, it's a one-off. He will be back to being a bad defensive floater, with his normal 25 goal season…

Never seen the PEDRATORS play either but I heard there where very good a couple of years making the playoffs in there early years of there franchise history I rember when they first came out but I never seen them play !!!

Well, this is now almost August, and the team in fact improved. Got secondary goalie competition like mentioned, got another stud vet defender to a very good top-4 (McDonagh), resigned Forsberg, added Niederreider for the 2nd line, and still have a little cap space left (needing to sign Trenin as well). Nash has improved and are a good player away from making a run.
