    A few observations:

    1) Peterson continues to play somewhat subpar. Great first half, but that third goal shouldn't have gone in and the turnover was on him to begin with. At this point I go into the game assuming that whoever they're versing will score roughly once every ten shots. Not awful, but far from perfect.
    2) Powerplay looked a LOT better at the start of this game, but kinda faded back to the same predictable Kempe->Doughty->Kopitar passes until one of them takes a low-chance shot model that we've seen throughout the season. Not sure if we'll be able to make some serious changes to that at this point, but definitely needs to improve. I don't mind seeing them experiment with this, but when even me, the at-home viewer, can predict who's going to shoot and when, I doubt the goalie has much trouble doing the same.
    3) Moore-Danault-Arvidsson line continues to be an absolute unit. I'm pretty sure they're all playing at an individual record-season pace, at least in recent memory.
    4) The Byfield line is going to HAVE to improve if Kings are really planning a playoff run this year. It seems like every game there's just that ever-so-tiny inch hurdle that the Kings just can't get over that causes them to lose really important points in close games. I don't see the PP situation changing this far down the line, and with Peterson consistently average and Quick somewhat unreliable, this seems like the most doable thing to push them over that bump. Byfield and Athanasiou both seem to match each other pretty well in terms of playstyle so as much as it pains me to say this, I'd try to replace Brown. I doubt they'd do this because there's just nowhere else he'd fit, and it'd be pretty disrespectful to send him down to the Minors, but if you could get that line working synergistically at the same level like the second or fourth line, you'd be in business.

    bally sports is so dang mediocre and the ticker on the bottom is maybe the most annoying thing ever

    Is there a reason why things like penalty's and hits aren't shown? Because I would really like to see where for example the double minor comes from.

    Hate to see Brobergs stick uselessly in the air on LA's second goal. I'm cheering for him but he seems to be disengaged a lot of the time.

    The oilers seem a lot more well-rounded under their new couch however, I don't think they've truly been tested yet. That will come when they play the Wild on Sunday
