This group kept giving me the same vibes as the Briere/Drury years last year. This group of guys, without Eichs in the locker room are playing for each other, not themselves. Playing as a team. I love it. They have heart.

Coach Don Granato doesn't get nearly enough of the credit he deserves for turning Buffalo into a much better team. He has them playing as a team, and not just a group of individuals (hello, Toronto!) It will all come down to how healthy the team stays; if they can keep the games lost due to injury down, then the young talent will get the chance to gain experience. I'm not saying that they'll be in the hunt for the Stanley Cup (just yet!), but in a few years (to quote Rick Jeanneret) 'These guys are good…SCARY good!'
