  1. great to see Drance make his evaluations. NOT!!! Hes not a coach gm agent etc. Hes a mouthpiece. Has no clue what he is talking about and tries to sound like he is the preeminent authority. He would have a tough time evaluating a peewee team. What a mouthpiece.

  2. What I don't understand is this continuous line of the next person being traded. They went on and on about Boeser and then onto JT Miller and now Bo Horvat. Why can the media in Vancouver not just discuss this team with out trying to trade someone. Every single interview ever done with someone talking about the Canucks they are trying to figure out who is going to be traded. It is a really irritating thing to me and I am sure the players are not to keen on the idea either.

  3. who cares about horvat contract.. only the media cares .. he still has year left on his current deal
    .

  4. Personally, I would like to see how Podkolzin fare with Miller and Boeser, Pearson can move to the 3rd with Horvat and Garland to be an effective two-way checking line with definite offensive punch. For all the hard work Podkolzin has put in, I would love to see what that work has amounted into – Miller is so into him so may as well see what chemistry those can produce with a very motivated Boeser.

  5. " 'rutherford is still a bit of a gunslinger…" … clearly shows that the continued common perception is that all deals involving the "canucks" are formulated, initiated and finalized by "trader jim" … which leads to the question … what exactly is patrik allvin's true role with this club? … possibly just a figurehead patsy to take the fall when things go awry once again?…

  6. If Vancouver media talked about what matters in hockey the entire conversation would start and end with, "hope to get lucky in the draft and get lucky in trades and fee agency."

That's hockey. That's not something these pretentious media people would ever talk about. They want to sound like it's not just a big ass roulette table, which is exactly what certain professional sports are.
