    Congrats Dallas you just wanted it more that game. That second goal in the 3rd really took the wind out of VGK's sails in which they really couldn't fully recover from. Oh well, that's hockey. There's always next year.

    Yah, yah fitting under the cap this and that for next year but all VGK hate from others aside, I really hope management gets their stuff together. I also hope they give guys like Logan Thompson more a chance to shine. GKG!

    Vegas is still alive. But hopefully Dallas hangs on.

    Dallas needs less points than Nashville. I need a Dallas-Colorado Round 1. Very underrated Rivalry.

    Plus if Dallas manages to pull off the upset, Dallas will have a rivalry game with St. Louis, as they have met many times (back when Dallas was the Minnesota North Stars), or a rivalry game with Minnesota as Minnesota fans will always hate Norm Green.

    Colorado-Minnesota is also a rivalry, but I don’t think Colorado-St. Louis is that much off a rivalry.

    You gotta feel for Thompson tho. As a rookie, thrown in as their starter when they’re fighting for a playoff spot, and he’s standing on his head doing everything he can, his team just isn’t helping. As a goalie myself, I can’t help myself but to feel bad for him, he’s doing everything he can, and you can visibly see his sadness both times he let in a goal in the shootouts for the last two games. He’s gonna be very special one day and I wish him nothing but the best in his career.

    f*ck you dallas because we have to play you in the first round. But bless your hearts for helping contribute to the demise of a pitiful, pathetic, degenerate vegas franchise (not the players or fans but the ownership and managers, and to some extent Pete Deboer). the conduct of this organization is a stain on the NHL.

    Finally vegas management and ownership get the worst kind of punishment and embarrassment that they have been dodging for the last two seasons. they get to see all their mistreatment of players, broken promises, horrible asset management, buying and signing older players to max contract and money deals while letting all their young assets go get turned into a non-playoff team that's 91million in cap and nowhere in sight of having a Stanley cup contenting team on their hands anymore.

    How did Dallas get 3 maybe 4 pieces of their future core in the same draft. Miro Robo Otter and Peterson all drafted in what was supposed to be a weak draft is insane. And 3 of them were key contributors to the win tonight

    i kinda want to be a fan of the stars, freaking love robertson. i gotta assume my choice with the #1 champion for the shane wright contest. at least we have suzuki and caufield but damn, robertson is something else.
