  1. Good episode. I was wondering if you had any news on Cole "Fetts " Perfetti? We had him in Jr's in Saginaw. I only had him in the penalty box with me a few times, he doesn't take many. Don't know if you watched NHL TONIGHT Saturday night but their guest coach seems to think Detroit is on some of these guys wish list. They'd like to work with Stevie Yzerman and be the one to take then over the hump. I transcribed pretty much what was said but it's too long to post here.

  2. The Jets had a decent record, altho not good enough to make the playoffs–they were in contention until the last month of the season, when Minnesota and St. Louis got red hot and couldn't be caught–that being said. this is another team in flux–needing a new Head Coach, since they've opted not to renew Coach Lowry as the Head Coach. The PP was decent but the PK was absolutely abysmal, and despite having one of the better goaltenders in the NHL, they are only an average team defensively. Not a lot of Cap space, but they need to resign PLD for certain, especially if Schieffle is dealt away. Of the UFAs, possibly Stastny and Sanford return, but no guarantee there, As you stated, I am very interested in what direction the Jets take this offseason.

  3. I live in Winnipeg and follow this team quite closely. You're analysis is off quite a bit from what our local reporters are saying. 🙁

  4. Chris Drury Gm of NYR, would be one who I would not be surprised presents a nice package to the Jets for #55- The Rangers certainly do have the assets- If the Jets do value Kravstov potential- he would be one of at least three to four pieces going to the Jets. Rangers most likely will re-sign Copp, and have Trouba as well- Scheifele would acclimate quiet well with the Rangers. He would be an improvement over Ryan Strone as the 2C- albeit Strome has been very good- Scheifele brings move size, better defensive play and is almost at 50% face-off win %- a great weakness of the Rangers, Lastly, Gallant seen Scheifele up close in 2018 against Vegas when he was coaching the Knights- I thought Scheifele really played well in that series against top line players.

  5. The Jets should trade Mark.S see what kind of return they can get , I would possibly explore trading wheeler also trade him for a same money contract that would make the jets better

  6. One thing I noticed watching the Jets is how little support the D core get from most of the forwards. They need an established Coach who can demand more structure and discipline in the defensive part of the game. They also play Connor H way too much. He was burned out by February. Scheifele has to go, as soon as they sign Dubois. They're stuck with Wheeler, and that brutal contract. Like to see Wheeler give up the "C", and they do it by committee instead.

  7. I hope they find a suitable fit for Mark Scheiffle and Blake Wheeler because that seems to be the obvious problem.Carolina would be a fit the other would be Nashville.

  8. Best thing the Jets could do is get rid of Sheifele…and trade for some D-Men…. Man he's HORRID defensively.

  9. As a winnipegger & Jets fan, i hope the jets pick D owen pickering at #14 if one of the top guys dont fall into their laps.

  10. There will be NO major trades by the Jets this off season, we had an off year and you don't deal away your team after 1 down season!!
