  1. I told you guys in an earlier quote on your show,
“watch JG go to a different team and Kadri signs back with Colorado”.
So far I am 50% correct.. lol

  2. SMH, you guys are something… perhaps you should get your heads out of your @sses and start paying attention to what's happening. If you actually paid attention you would realize that CBJ i.e. Jarmo and John D. have been doing a tremendous job in finding and signing young talent. Laine, Sillinger, Johnson, Marchenko, Chinakhov, Jiricek, Mateychu, Ceulemans etc. where the oldest of all (Laine) is only 24 years old. Johnny Hockey will be an awesome addition to this roster. BTW, your take that Columbus is worse than Calgary or NJ is also ridiculous. This is a 28 years old family man, who is not necessarily looking to party but a place where he can raise a family. According to multiple sources Gaudrau wants to play in small market, US team where he can quietly raise his family while playing on a team with a decent future upside (not necessarily an immediate cup contender).

  3. What did John Davidson do? Jarmo effin Kekäläinen is the GM who played everyone. First got Gudbranson so that Gaudreau felt more comfortable coming over.

  4. Is Gaudreau a father? As a father myself I can undersand this. Most of the Political nonsence going on in the world is tenfold in the bigger cities. Canada is especially bad, all of my family from there has moved to the states. I lived in NYC in the1990's. me and my wife didn't want to raise kids there and it's much worse now. I don't miss living in a big city one bit. Having lived in peaceful Ohio for a bit myself I get it why someone wolud chose there. Johnny's getting millions either way, I'd take less to live in a less urban area too. haha Nothing against anyone living in a city…just trying to figure out his path of thinking as well. Either way, JD knocked this one out of the park but I think Jonny is thinking of where he'd want to raise kids.

  5. First to answer your questions on why elite players were leaving the CBJ. I will answer it with 1 word: Torts. Now to answer your 2nd question. He took less money for the city and the new culture that the CBJ are offering. Columbus is a fantastic city to raise a family in. Plus, with the revamped front office and coaching staff. He saw how the orginization rallied around family issues with PL's dad passing. The family issues with Tex. Not-to-mention the commitment to add players that will make an impact. Quality of life guys.

  6. Columbus also offers an opportunity for Gaudreau to make his money in relative obscurity.

  7. He did not want to live in New York or New Jersey. He has a baby on the way. It was a life decision. Columbus is a family-friendly city.

  8. The Jackets are (hopefully) going to do what it takes to lock up Saine as well. Saine and Gaudreau would/will be scary. Nothing on the back end? Werenski is a fantastic defenseman. Yes they need more on that side so we’ll see. For me, politically, any city/state on the East Coast is a disaster. I mean look at the garbage that comes out of socialist cities and states on the eastern seaboard. AOC, Schumer, Sanders, BIDEN, Warren, etc. Furthermore, the freaks you guys constantly elect locally! Cuomo?? That earned you the dumb bitch that replaced his criminal ass. Kathy Hochul? New Jersey isn’t much better with Phil Murphy. Why would anybody want to move to a state run by those people? “Vaccine” and mask mandates, no concept of self defense. There’s a reason I see more and more and more New York/California/Massachusetts,etc. license plates on the road here.
