Kinda makes sense, if anything slafkovsky is lower then wright. I just don’t see slafkovsky being as good as wright
I mean if anything we knew Slaf was more for a future peak, but I think wright atm is the better prospect. They are also on the lower side laff was 82, dhalin was 82, jack hughes was 82.
Since Slaf was already playing in a mens league I expected him to start out at 80 tbh
Also Slaf just played at the Habs Camp scrimmage with NHL players (better than the rookie tournament) and got two points in the one game. He’s going to be fine.

I think Wright is higher in the Calder because he is slightly more NHL ready. Also he did get a point in the rookie tourney, That pass to Mesar where he outraced the defensemen.
Bro, I thought slaf was the best way before the draft and still do BUT to bring up where players are drafted even though Wright was still ranked #1 before the draft (not betting odds on who goes 1) is crazy. Nothing really changed now that Wright went 4 besides Habs scouts thinking slaf will be better for there team
