Le meilleur de tous les temps des Canucks de Vancouver

Ils ont été proches de cette victoire finale en séries éliminatoires à deux reprises. Peut-être qu’un jour ils mettront enfin fin à leur sécheresse de Coupe. 1. Tie downs- and penalties for removing the jersey in a fight- are a consequence of Rob Ray, and Rob Ray alone.

  2. 14:00 good point I should do this too but I feel it’s more fun to get a player on the jersey plus if that player leaves then I probably won’t like the team as much and when a jersey gets dated I normally won’t be a fan of the team so I can have a jersey but wear a player on the back that I liked when I liked the team when I got the jersey

  3. My top 10 (subject to change):
#1 Bure – best pure goal scorer with back to back 60 goal 100 + point seasons
#2 Sedins – back to back art ross trophy winners
#3 Naslund – arguably the best captain we've ever had
#4 Linden – the most beloved canuck in history + historic 1994 run
#5 Luongo – the best goaltender in canuck history
#6 Bertuzzi – the best power forward in canuck history
#7 Burrows – slayed the dragon + epic 2011 run
#8 Kesler – selke winner, 1 of only 2 guys to score over 40 goals in the last decade + epic 2011 run
#9 Ohlund – defensive beast + led all dman in points during his time
#10 Hughs – immediate top caliber performance by a rookie dman = immediate top 10 placement

    Honourable mentions:
Edler – as much as he has accomplished as a canuck, he just isnt a top 2 dman. never was imo.
Tanti – consistent 30+ goal scorer during the season, but a ghost during his 2 playoff runs with the team with 0 goals in 10 games.
Jovanoski – wish he was with the canucks longer.

  4. Another he was a Canuck, Dave "Tiger" Williams, and I agree the Canucks have a great young team and should be considered contenders for the foreseeable future

  5. Roger Nielsen has to get an honorable mention as coach… He provided the best coaching moment in Canuck's history and started the white towel movement. Inspirational coach who led them to their first cup finals.

  6. Are the Canucks the most cursed hockey franchise?
    >burned down the city twice

    >have Wayne Maki, Rick Rypien and Luc Bourdon die as canucks

    >had the worst main jersey design in maybe the history of NA sports

    >the Bertuzzi incident

    >being on the end of the McSorley incident

    >Matt Cooke

    >the Messier/Keenan era

    >taking over 20 years to have a genuinely good team relative to the league (1992 was their first year that they achieved above .500, 22 years in their existence – imagine if the Ducks started to have a winning team in 2015)

    >absolutely garbage drafting historically (hurr durr Sedins)

    >drafting Petr Nedved at 2nd instead of Jagr
    >drafting Rick Vaive at 6th (and then trading him) instead of Ray Bourque

    >Dan Woodley at 7th instead of Brian Leetch
    >Virtanen instead of Ehlers, Larkin, Nylander, etc…

    >many, many more missed opportunities due to bad drafting or missing out on higher picks

    >never getting first overall in their history, and rightfully so

    >Bure being hurt like 75% of the time

    >Neely trade

    >Hodgson trade

    >never having a #1 defenceman in their history EVER , especially when they had cup contending teams

    >having a team with Kesler, Burrows, Bieksa, Torres, Glass, Rome, Lapierre, etc…

    >having a fanbase that is probably the worst in the NHL, sending death threats to anybody who pokes Pettersson

    >having a fanbase that still to this day cries about conspiracy in 2011, even though they got completely fucked 23-8 in the series and it was 100% their fault

    >fucking off Gretzky by calling him in the middle of the night to have him make a decision to join the team

    >dickhead coaches like Mike Keenan, Marc Crawford, John Tortorella

    >John Mccaw, Francesco Aquilini

    >losing 3 out of 3 stanley cup finals, two being game 7s

    Anything else that I missed?

  7. Idea for a video Shannon, draft a history Canucks team of the players in their prime just to see who makes your all time Canucks lineup. Maybe even with other teams just to show how deep their stardom goes throughout their history.

  8. Very weak totals for all time leaders,

    In no order

    Bure
    Luongo
    Mogilny
    Sedins
    Lindin
    Sundin
    Naslund
    Morrison
    Bertuzzi
    Messier lol

  9. I've had a silly theory about the Canucks Stanley Cup sorrows. The Canucks have to wait until every team in the league before them wins before they can carry the Cup. With St. Louis winning last year, that only leaves Buffalo who were ahead of them by the technicality of a coin toss. Either that or, the hockey Gods hate Vancouver.

  10. I would be interested in watching a video comparing the '11 and '92 Canucks.
Also Shannon, would you have voted for Bure for the Calder vs Lidstrom in '92?

  11. No mention of Harold Snepsts. The heart and soul of the blueline in the early 80's, as well as a fan favourite

  12. All respect to the Sedins but nobody put fear into other teams like Bure. Playing EA Sports '93, even my non-hockey friends wanted to play as "Pat Burr". He was scary fast and hella good. Still the face of the team for me (sorry Trevor L)

  13. What about Alexander Mogilny? Didn't he score 76 goals in a season for the Canucks? I believe the next season he followed with 55 goals. That is 131 goals in 2 years! And what about Jocelyn Guevermont (spelling) for defense? One of the early Canucks top defensmen.

  14. I'm not surprised about our points percentage regarding CBJ, CBJ was bad for quite a while until recently and they ran into the WCE Canucks a lot who beat on them a lot. The Sedins/Luongo era Canucks were also very strong vs CBJ lol. As for the GPG with Tampa, I think a lot of it had to do with a 9-2 game in 1996… and TB is an eastern team who were very bad in the 90s… and we don't play them often so the stats get skewed. It would be good to see which team we scored the most against per game in our own conference though lol.

Best Canucks in order IMO: Bure, Sedins (both), Luongo, Naslund

  15. I think 2011 Canucks beat 92 Canucks in a 7 game series, but 92 Canucks will explode for 5-6 goals each in the games they do win lol. 2011 Canucks will win games 1-2 1-0 or 3-2, and then 92 Canucks win 5-0, 7-2, 2011 Canucks win game 5 3-2, 1992 wins 8-1 in a blowout in the rink on Renfrew, but 2011 Canucks snuff out the 92 team with suffocating late-2000s defence at Rogers and win 2-1 in game 7 lol.

  16. 2010-11 Canucks won the Presidents' Trophy. They had the most goals for and the fewest goals against. They had the best power play and had the second best penalty kill. They lost in game 7 of the finals. Find ANY TEAM that led the league in all those categories.

  17. henirk and daniel don't look that similar. I feel like someone needs facial blindness to think so.
