Aperçu de la saison 2022-23 des Coyotes de l’Arizona

Je veux dire, ils n’essaient pas encore de gagner, donc c’est assez facile à prédire. 1. They're just gonna be ornery, annoying, and bad again. Its part of the Armstrong plan. Sell your bad contracts for picks. They have only chipped the surface of building with the actual players. They need Keller, Chych, and Crouse (who other teams would absolutely kill to get) are going to be the strong players to start it.

  2. Arizona's final home game will be on April 13 vs the Vancouver Canucks. The team has declared that game to be Fan Appreciation Night. So far, no alternate plans have been made in case he doesn't show up.

  3. Their plan is Bedard, Matthews, Knies and develop the young prospect pool that is growing in leaps and bounds. They could be a powerhouse when they leave the campus and head to the brand-new arena in Tempe. They will have no problem pulling in decent free agents once ready.

  4. If I remember correctly 3 or 4 out of last 5 seasons Arizona had brutal starts

  5. I’m looking forward to seeing players improving and hopefully driving up their draft stock and trade stock and free up more room a little but also keeping keystone players. But I’m also looking for good games at least and not give up games.

  6. If they sold their book on Colorado, they could make some cash.

  7. Ah the review we’ve all been waiting for.

So many questions. Will they sell out in a 5-K home rink? Aaand that’s it.

  8. As a Yotes fan I’m looking forward to seeing Hayton in a bigger role and Crouse take another step.

  9. If you couldn't stand watching them, imagine how us fans in the Gila River Arena felt! The players got better as the season went on. I think some of it was coaching sure, BUT LAST YEARS TEAM PLAYED WITH HEART! I give them alot of credit.
As a resident of Glendale, I'm very disappointed. I won't be attending à game in Tempe with the crazy ticket prices(Unless I win the lottery before the season starts). Only 5,000 seats, it looks like a wonderful AND TINY arena. I wish them well, I'll be cheering them on from the PUB Eh?!

  10. "This season…doesn't really matter!" Is there anything else that could've EVER been said about this embarrassing franchise for the last 10 years? I've never seen any professional sports organization in ANY capacity be this pathetic.

  11. LMAO I just imagined Gary Presenting the cup to less than 5k opposing fans in Arizona's lovely new arena.

  12. at the very least, I love their jerseys and that alone makes me want to root for them. So happy they brought back the old ones.

  13. Thank you for the video! I hope we see one of Macceli/Jenik/Söderström in the NHL full-time this year. We need to get more young players established in the NHL.

  14. This might not be the most popular take, but I think the Yotes unfortunately do considerably better than expected. People forget they had the Keller,Crouse , Chychrun and other major players all with season ending injuries. They also will have new blood like Macelli, McBain

  15. Byod is going to be the first line Center, like most of last season. He has chemistry playing between Keller and Schmaltz. Bjugstad hasn't played center in years.

  16. AZ has 18 draft picks in the first 3 rounds over the next 3 drafts. It's all about the move to the new arena 3-4 years down the road. Whether they get Bedard or not…watch out.

  17. Chicago getting the number 1 pick next year and it will rest their franchise

  18. Honestly excited to watch this team, each night is gonna be a surprise(weather is good or terrible)

  19. To me I don't care as much if they make the playoffs or not, I just always enjoy a win and an upset. I don't think they're that far away from a playoff spot either, I think some of their rookies will be more ready next year. I think Bunting, Dineen and Kirk all have potential. Oh and Jenik too.

  20. Of all of the teams in the NHL I am really looking forward to seeing the Coyotes season home opener. It will be the funniest thing to watch Betman's epic failure take the ice in front of the few Arizona fans who are willing to pay top dollar to watch them play in a glorified junior rink.. on par with Moose Jaw. Can't wait!!!

  21. As a Coyotes fan, yes we exist, every tally in the L column is actually one for the W.

As for what I want to see on this ice, solid showings from Smith and McBain. I don't necessarily think both of them are really part of our overall future, we did just draft Cooley and Geekie, and depending on what Hayton's contract ends up being, according to capfriendly he still hasn't signed, we may end up a bit overloaded in the C area. Speaking of Hayton, he has to get better, because right now as a 5OA, he's a a complete bust, so if he ends up in the 1C spot, he needs to prove it, he basically has 2 years to show he's worth the roster spot, but I'm not holding my breath. I honestly feel like there is a good chance either Smith or McBain ends up in that spot by years end, and Hayton lands on the 3rd, or maybe 4th line.

I would like to see Keller and Schmaltz take another step and build on last years success. Keller unfortunately got hurt, but if he stays healthy it will be interesting to see what he can accomplish, Schmaltz same thing. Crouse needs to prove he's worth the 4.3 million they just signed him to. I would also like to see Maccelli in the lineup for the full year, see what we really have in him. He was great in the AHL last season, not so great in the NHL, but he's in his last year of his ELC, so hoping to see him play and ideally develop into a solid roster guy.

For Vejmelka, hopefully more of those really good games, really just build on last year.

Our D is a mess, we basically have Chyc, and Ghost, then a canyon, and Mayo, Moser and Dineen, If Chyc gets traded, and Ghost either gets traded or leaves in FA, it's pretty bad. I would like to see some of the younger players, like Dineen, Moser and Mayo, take a step up, Soderstorm hopefully see more ice time and show some development on the ice, but at the moment this is by far our worst position, which is saying a lot given how bad the team is right now, but even from a future outlook standpoint, it's easily the worst.

In short, tank, and tank hard, and prey to the Hockey gods for Bedard.

  22. Am I the only one who half expected Arizona last season to be worse than the 2016-17 Avs? I don't think that changed until even the turn of the new year, if I remember right.

  23. First team in history that will lead the league in sellouts but be last in the league in attendance.

  24. Say what you want about Arizona but there is no denying that they might have the best goalie scouts in the league. They have trained in and raised 4-5 goalies that are NHL mainstays in the last few years. Also, Clayton Keller on any other team is a 45+ goal player. Also, if Arizona gets bedard, who’s to say Austin matthews doesnt hop the fence. This is his childhood team after all.

  25. I live in Scottsdale and used to live in Tempe. Phoenix is trying to stop it and honestly it would be a huge letdown if they didn’t get a deal. Gila was a nice arena but a huge portion of fans live in the East Valley. Glendale was a poor location. I have tickets to the opener at Mullett arena. Really excited for the more intimate arena.

  26. As a 2021-2022 season ticket holder (I just plain can't this year between living on the west side, working in North Scottsdale and then ASU being in the southeast area), I say let the new kids play and work their kinks out during a throwaway season. I'm anticipating another slow start and a season that gets progressively better. Hoping for 30+ wins.

Veggie will be better and hopefully consistent. Keller can be a 30+ goal scorer if he stays healthy. Looking forward to what Schmaltzy and Ghost do, hope Hayton produces more, and I so hope we're able to keep Chychrun. I'm looking forward to watching Nate Smith and Jack McBain develop, and of course Tuna (Liam O'Brien) pick a ton of fights.
