Overrated. Big disappointment in Montreal. We all thought he was going to be much better. Yes, he hits a few players, but that's it. No offense, and was benched during the season and SCP.

I'm going to miss Romanov, but with Guhle, Harris, Xhekaj, Hutson and more at LD… it's worth the gamble for acquiring a potential top 6 C with Kirby Dach.
Makes no sense why he was traded
Not gonna lie loved this kid, big hits, great personality, always smiling and happy, works out all the time fun to watch but Mtl traded him for a reason, he very limited offensively will never be a big point producer and the big one is he runs around a little to much and gets caught out of position way to often leaving his team in a bad defensive position, having said all that if you watch hockey strictly to be entertained he provides that in spades.

I d never traded a young D man on the rising with character and hit skills for a forward lets hope Dach bring more (im curious see Drouins season under StLouis u wish Johnny the best and health so he can help us)…. and that Hughes didnt make mistake, cant wait see if their analysis is right,.. if Dach is kind of player everyone awaits maybe its worth it….

Lamerello plans on putting Romanov with Dobson. Last year, Dobson had a break out year and was partner with Mayfield. Which makes sense, young defensemen learn with a veteran defender. I’m afraid Dobson is going to have a hard time with Romanov cause he’s unpredictable and won’t be able to communicate with a freight train. I can see why fans were shocked Romanov was worth No.13 overall.
