8 minutes of replay, 4 minutes of commercials. Only the NHL channel does this. All the other channels that do highlights don't run ads throughout, at inopportune times. Now, I know it's not cheap to use your footage and pay for shot meters above the goal and all, but……
Oettinger? More like "Roy-ttinger." That dude played solidly. My mouth was agape at some of those saves. His defense did squat for him. This series has had some amazing goaltending reminiscent of the mid-late 90's.
"Holy jumpin'" is about one of the stupidest phrases I've ever heard from an announcer. Sorry, Panger.
tkachuk couldve ended faska there…. had the whole stars bench screaming.
Way to go flames. Beautiful goal tending on both sides good game.
Typical midseason form game by Dallas, no offense and allowing tons of shots.
Regular season Flames showed up and it wasn't a contest.
Never know which team shows up but I hope this one sticks around for game 5 & 6.
Once again the stars prove why I can’t trust them. Smfh 🤦🏾♂️ come on!!!!
As a Flames fan, it's great to see the boys back to their old self.
As a hockey fan, Oettinger is the franchise goalie Dallas is looking for;
It does takes 50+ shots to beat a talented goalie like him.
Call the police! Toffoli was robbed!
wow,,, this reminds me of 1989 1st round series with Vancouver that went to 7 games, and we all remember how that worked out
The correct team won this game.
Oettinger was crazy good but markstrom also made some crazy saves to keep the lead for the flames
Hey, I know reg season don't matter but in order…Panthers, Avs, Canes, Flames, Blues, Leafs, Wild, Tampa, finished with highest + – goal differential sooo, Stars was worst with a -3, Kings with a +3, Caps +30, Boston + 35 then Pens +43 and NY with +47, were middle of pack. Can this still have impact on team's strength for ENTIRE series? Just askin.
Oh, Oilers were +38.
Whoops, Stars were, actually, -8!
What a battle of goalies!
That was a stellar penalty-shot goal. Great timing and precision on that one.
This would be a sweep by this point if Oetinnger wasn't stopping 40+ shots a game. Should have been about 8-1 (flames broke a franchise record for shots in a playoff game)
Ottenger is a machine
53 shots on goal for the Flames?! Damn! That Dallas goalie played pretty good but he just got bombarded. It seems all the *hit talking Stars fans who were calling the series over after game 3 were just a tad premature 😂
Dallas left Oettinger out to dry. Guy was practically standing on his head.
Getting out scared in back to back games? Yeah flames in 6
Otenger played great but the flames are too much of a powerhouse
The funny thing is each of these teams come from Cowboy Country in their own right. Interesting series, Go Dallas!
Can the Caps borrow Oettinger for a game, Dallas?… We desperately need him right about now!
