Jesus effing Christ Fleury. Every game is just a highlight reel of incredible saves thanks to the Hawks horrendous play consistently in their own end we get to see some never seen before stops every game lol. Worth it? I think so.
I was immediately very worried when the new coach said:"I don't have system. I play those who are hot." Such approach cannot be successful in today's NHL. It is also waste of time for the whole organization. The "no system" unfortunately starts to play out statistically for Blackhawks. Teams which very obviously have solid "system" are Tampa, Boston , St Louis, Pittsburgh and Nashville. Of course now Vancouver also joins the club with new coach. Then there is hybrids like Colorado, Carolina, Washington and Florida which are prone to skids if some top players are not perfectly tuned in.
I know anything other than a two point win is unacceptable for many players, especially Fleury, but I sincerely hope he doesnt think this game was a failure…because to anyone watching what he does is something we only dream of being capable of doing…
