  1. “We need young assets”- KyLe Davidson
When Debrincat is literally 24 years old and dach is 21💀💀

  2. This guy got his job by giving the Blackhawks his NHL 22 GM mode resume

  3. I’m glad Davidson is at least taking action and not pussyfooting around like Bowman

  4. They're practically forced to rebuild. I think Hawks made some really good pics here

  5. Don’t get this draft. Are you telling me Frank Nazar is better than Kirby Dach? Dach should have been a player to build around. Trade our veterans if you’re going to go with a youth movement!

  6. Kirby Dach has been a disappointment. But I don't understand what the f Davidson was thinking when he traded Debrincat. You want a rebuild? I would think you would then want young talented players. And the return he got on the Debrincat trade? Seriously??? Looks to me he is trying to tank the 2022/2023 season. Going to be a sad season for Hawks fans.

  7. I'm still wondering how this guy is a GM. If you're going to trade DeBrincat, first off don't, but shouldn't you get the highest return possible? Didn't New Jersey offer the number 2 overall, and a prospect? Why not take that deal? Why not wait until the trade deadline? Brinksy is only 24, you could have rebuilt around him. As for Dach, I'm good with trading him. I don't think he's ever going to pan out as the player that the Hawks thought he was. Good size and skill, but lacks the strength to impose his will on defenders. Injuries haven't helped his development either.

  8. Ugh this guy seems like a moron. Such a shame how far the Blackhawks have fallen.

  9. They are looking to tank for a couple of seasons at least. Getting DeBrincat a 40 goal scorer and getting broken down Mrazak is a clear sign that they want high picks in the next few drafts as well.

  10. "It was incredibly difficult convincing all the other gms that I'm not stan bowman. They didnt believe me and they treated me accordingly."

  11. Hawks went woke
    Sad
Hope to see the sports documentary on their rise and collapse in a few years

  12. As a Senators fan, I am stoked with the DeBrincat trade. However, I was trying to rationalize what the Hawks were trying to do in this draft.

The best I came up with is that they want to move Kane and Toews, but to convince them to leave (i.e. get them to waive their NMCs) they need to strip the team of its young talent first and thereafter get even younger talent (that has no chance of fully developing while Kane and Toews try to wind down their careers).

This means that should Kane and Toews be interested in going on another Cup run they will see that they cannot do that in Chicago and will waive their NMCs, making it possible for Chicago to get rid of their massive contracts.

  13. Broken down to the nitty-gritty and pound for pound, they got more for Hagel than they did for Alex. I know Alex has gone on record as saying he will test free agency, but still…ya got him for two years and he's become a very competent two-way player that'll score you forty goals. League must think differently of I guess. That, or the GM has his head up his arse and over a barrel.

  14. Glad Dach is gone. Laziest player I have ever seen. Watched him for 3 years and never saw him skate hard once! Never saw him hustle 1 shift. Would have dumped him for some pucks!
