Big signing. 5 years 22.5 million. This guy was key in the Avs cup run. Glad they are keeping the nucleus in Colorado.

They don’t need Kadri to win again. They got the job done against Edmonton without him. He wasn’t even among the top 3 points producers for them this postseason
As an Avs fan I’m super stoked to get Mikko Lehtonen signed to a long term
$4.5M was an absolute steal for Lehky. Such a phenomenal 200ft player and obviously clutch having scored the goal two years in a row to take his team to the finals as well as the cup winning goal. No way they are signing Kadri as they have one RFA signing left and I don’t think I have to even mention who that is. Once that happens, will have an elite core for at least another 4-5 years with Mack, Makar, Landy, Mikko, Val, Lehky and Manson. Toews still has another two years on his contract as well. Fully expecting to see the Avs trade Sammy G as well for picks and/or prospects to free up cap space.
