Ovechkin tied the record & scored a goal..It doesn't matter if they lost in overtime. They get 1 point…They are 2nd in their division..So it doesn't matter.
I'm glad the controversial goal at the end of the 3rd didn't come back to haunt them because Hawks don't care about the OT point but it really does emphasis how broken the nhls review system is. A short few games ago towes had this exact same situation occur with an opposite call. I'm loving the fight thru bad officials attitude this team is taking this year, last year I feel like when these things happened they would simply let it get in their head
