Adams and company did a good job with the draft. Glad they drafted the top goalie as im like a lot of other fans think both Portillio and Ryan Johnson wont sign with Buffalo.
On the free agent market for a goalie i heard Holtby will miss next season with an injury and his career could be done. Nice move by Detroit to trade and sign for Husso , ditto NJ who traded for Washington's Vitek Vanaceck .
Does Adams now sign Greise , Eric Comrie or Martin Jones ? Or trade for Cam Talbot who some say was pissed that Fleury resigned with Minnesota and hes making more money than him .
Now Sunday night, hearing Dumbass Dubas, laffs GM is thinking of trading for Matt Murray , of course he is since Murray is an ex Soo Greyhound Dubas jr club. If he does this does Adams go out and try and sign Campbell for 5 million a year , for 5 years or go with another goalie like Jones , Greiss, Talbot or Allen (for less money and term- 2 or 3 years ) until Levi is ready?
It might be one of the first times he has spoken english outside of school, so better to keep it short. He probably understand it fine like most young finns do. After couple of weeks in NA, speaking should not be a problem.

So the first round of the draft is in the books, and 12 times I checked to see if Wayne posted … and he did not.
Two thoughts entered my mind:
1) Wayne had a heart attack about our picking small players.
2) Wayne gave up the Sabre channel ,and became a Seattle Kraken fan, because our Sabres drafted tiny guys instead of drafting 80 grit sand paper.
I am glad the Captain of our YouTube Sabre ship is healthy and in command!

Sabs had Decent draft but missed out on a guy who, in my opinion at least, is a future captain to build around & that was Rutger Mcgroarty. Ya ya his "skating needs work" but so did the guy he reminded me of the most: Chris Drury…with better hands

I still think Buffalo should have nabbed Husso. I always want Buffalo to do better in the net and there goes another top free agent that could have helped Buffalo out tremedously. This kid might be good but seriously Husso was your franchise goalie. good job Detroit.
