Boudreau has something to prove. They have set themselves up nicely to add a lot at the deadline and flip some guys for fair value if they do it smart. But this deadline is expiring ALL the patience I have for the new group. So far the moves have really been mediocre. I like the fwd group and would have rather kept Mikeyevs money for a Dman unexpectedly on the move and we have the cap etc.

Canucks damn near had a real shot at sneaking into the playoffs last season….they just ran out of games at the end.
I think they have a much better chance at competing for a playoff spot this coming season.

It should be noted that Thatcher Demko and Spencer Martin were unbelievable this last year. Halak was pretty meeeeehh but Demko and Martin were incredible for big stretches when Bruce was in. The forward group looks good but man o man they need a top 4 RH D-man in the worst way.
