  1. I said it last year and I'll say it again this year: if the Blues can't find a way to keep MacKinnon, Landeskog, Rantanen, and Makar under control, they won't be able to win a game, let alone a series. I could see some pretty high-scoring games, and I think this goes to either 6 or 7 games

  2. Colorados Ds are far superior to ST Ds. There’s just too deep this year and far better team than last year. Speed kills and Colorado will destroy ST Louis.

  3. As crazy as it is to say, Colorado is really the team with something to prove here. The sweep of the Blues last year was convincing, but that breakdown against Vegas was abysmal. They had no business falling short of the finals with that team.

  4. It's hard to say, I've been a die hard blues fan for thirty years. This is going to be a tough series. It's possible the blues win, but not probable.

  5. What’s more .. ESPN woke channel putting women on play by play. BARF game seven tonight has the worst or the worst. Thank god for CBC feed.

  6. This is going to be a great series. Avalanche take the round in 6 games. This is the year we bring Lord Stanley back to Colorado!!! Go Avs Go!!!

  7. I'm fine with the Blues being considered the underdog against the Avs…I mean they'll most likely just use this "No Respect" attitude to fuel them and prove to everyone out there they were wrong 😉

  8. Avs in 5 is a joke. You’re going to win in 7 at best but will probably choke way before that like you always do in round 2.

  9. Great rundown, earned yourself a sub sir!! Hope the Blues win but I would by lying if I wasn't scared. I think the Blues can put the Avs to the test, lets see what happens. I think the Avs have the higher top end but the Blues are deeper. There are so many things that can factor into the outcome to this series and hopefully its going to be a fun one to watch (with my boys in blue coming out ahead in the end)

  10. I say Avs in 6. Although, The Blues have a bigger team, Colorado is still the best team in the league and I say they get past the second round. If they get past the Western Conference Finals as well, Say hello to your new cup champs! But hey, Anything could happen. In other words, Hey Nick, How’s it going? Other than liking the Sharks as my number one and they have been my number 1 for a long time, The Avs and Sharks have become both of my number 1 favorite teams. I had an obsession with altitude and elevation and went on to like the Avalanche as well as the Sharks. Anyways, I’m not saying the Blues can’t pull off the upset, but if Colorado’s not very rusty, It’s going to be of what Daryll Sutter calls it “a waste of 8 days” for the Blues.

  11. I’m a realist, and it’s hard to think the Blues are going to win, BUT, I think it’s possible. When you have a guy like Tarasenko on the third line, anything is possible. The Avalanche have everything to lose, the Blues don’t.

  12. I have no idea whats gonna happen im just happy i get at least 4 more games of blues hockey for better or worse

  13. The blues will definitely be a bigger test than Nashville and I get they are a different team than last year.

The Avs are different this year as well. They are deeper and a whole lot tougher than in years past.

The Avs will win in 5, 6 at the very most.

  14. Shocking prediction. As a Blues fan I like it but I think its a bit unfounded. He mainly argues that the Blues are a proven playoff team. And I sort disagree with that. The Blues won the cup yes but surround that one cup year is not a very good post season record. Yes, the Blues made it to the 3rd round only two years before their cup run but the last two years were first round exits. And yes as a Blues fan I am always cautious about being too confident with my team – that's my bias.

I will tell you one thing that separates this team for me from the 2019 team. There was something about the 2019 that early on in the playoffs made me and many others feel we had a chance to go the cup. I don't have that same feeling this year. Is it because we had Piertangelo, Bouwmeester, 2019 version of Parayko and a 2019 version of Binnington. It mgiht be. There was something playoff tough of that team that this team has me concerned about.

  15. Avs are a different team this year.. actually were better, more disciplined, and more defensively minded and can score anytime we want. Avs blue line is going to blast the blues inconsistent goaltending and the “ not the same Binny” from 2019. Avs will skate circles and score from right, left and you get it.Winnington?😂 he looks like a nervous schoolboy at the best of times. Avs light him or Husso up like a christmas tree. Will be a good series but a short one. They picked up Leddy at deadline. Ooooo were shaking. 😂Avalanche ⚠️ Warning.

  16. Awesome reviews, excellent channel! The Blues have a mountain to climb but it’s doable and their mojo is strong at the moment. Let’s go Binner, Let’s go Blues!

  17. Cool story Bro. Past 2yrs, Nathan MacKinnon is a problem STL & the NHL have 0 answers for. Moose & Naz are top 10 scorers. Did I mention Cale has become top 5 player on🌍 & leads NHL with a staggering 2.75 PPG. But hey, those are just #s🤣

  18. Game 1 was a blow out!
The Avalanche out played the blues.
Even having every break go the Blues way was not enough.
    The Blues had no chance.
OK the game went to OT.
But how many SOG did the Blues get in OT?
You can't score if you don't get a shot on goal.

  19. Congrats to the Avalanche! They proved me wrong with how they defensively contained the Blues. I do think this is a different series with a healthy Binnington, but even so, the Avs would've likely pulled it off in 7. Feel free to comment below with your thoughts on the series.

  20. It was a good series. Wish Binnington wouldn't have got hurt, it would of been a different story if Husso wasn't in. It really hurt them when we came back from 3-0 on Avs home ice. Even with that dream goal by Mac from end to end. What an amazing Comeback game. But they got us back when they scored with 5 seconds left with the dagger to the heart. That still hurts 😵. I hope the Avs take the cup. It was hard fought! As always LET'S GOOOO BLUES we got next year! 💙
