The islanders were hurt because of Trotz stubbornness and not wanting to play young players, how long is this going to go on for? I like Trotz but if he’s costing the team wins because of his inflexible philosophy then maybe he’s not the guy we want leading this team!
Devils lose to best team that will not make playoffs. Hughes injured on clean check by Wahlstrom. Subban shows his true colors by jumping Wahlstrom and is ejected.
Good for Cory. He had a lot of years of poor play due to injuries. He has been having a really solid season down in the AHL this year. Nice to see him winning in the NHL again.
Goal #3 on Daws was seriously awful. What NHL goaltender moves like this? Guy is totally asleep in net. Even Cory would have absolutely blasted that pass with the left pad. Come on dude…
Chara did not look good this game. A minus three and it looked like he didn't even try. I'm rooting for him, it's cool to see a 45-year old playing at this level with the youngsters. Hopefully this was just a speedbump and hopefully he has something left in the tank.

How did subban get ejected, the islanders hit Jack Hughes, who is probably injured. Subban was just defending his teammate after a dirty hit
