  1. Awesome signing by Vancouver…. Even strength points from 21-22 was 24 goals 37 assists, p/p goals 8, p/p assists 30; average for the % from the prior two seasons….

  2. Lego u need to make a video about our cap situation and how we are gonna sign horvat next year. Myers trade has to happen for horvat to stay.

  3. YYeeeesssss !….Love ya JT ! Your AWESOME…. !!!….no pressure but under Boudreau….I'll bet he's a candidate for the presidents trophy !!

  4. The biggest win here is that there will be fewer JT Miller videos. Yes!!!!

  5. Very happy he's resigned, throwing money at a player you know well Is worth it. All players decline but what Miller brings to the team with leadership is not easily replaced. He holds players accountable and makes players play for the jersey and the people.

  6. Pumped to see Miller sticking around. He's the engine that drives this team.

  7. Too long for old player. Didn’t break the bank, but I don’t think this will age well when we need to resign Peterson and all the younger players. Meh. Better value then OEL though

  8. I complained when Canucks signed Loui Erickson and people actually flamed me saying he would rejuvenate the Sedins. Well then he ended up not even playing with the Sedins, and we all know how bad he was.. on further thought. This is a god awful mistake by Canucks management

  9. nice to see your face for a change! i’m happy with the contract. luv the guy. He gives 100 % every game.

  10. I like it now, but I'm worried we will 2 bad contracts as petey and hughes enter there prime

  11. I really like what Miller brings to the team, but I also expected we might get a really good return for him and bring in the pieces to rebuild our team. So that ain't happening……………..So where does that leave Horvat? We're just under $3 million over the cap, so something has to give. Poolman, or Pearson traded would get us under the cap and possibly buy us some help on R defence. We have a log jam in our forward group, so something has to get sorted out by the end of September? Fingers are getting tired of being crossed. The expectation was that major changes would be made around this team, and so far the moves have been underwhelming, other than the UFA signings.

  12. Just a short five days ago you posted a video titled 'JT MILLER "PULLING A GAUDREAU?" POTENTIAL COLUMBUS BLUE JACKETS SIGNEE?' LOL!

  13. This is the 2nd best move they could've made. Reasonable AAV. Plus the guy is a LEADER. Horvat may have the "C" on his jersey, but Miller is the de facto captain I truly believe. As Miller goes, so go the Canucks. One small tidbit here….the "No movement" clause doesn't kick in until NEXT YEAR, soooooo, they COULD still trade him. If he has another 100 point season, that's a very real scenario.

  14. One last thing……he took a discount to stay with this team. Tell me that Petey's not gonna consider that now as well.

  15. Miller signs 7 year extension with the Canucks ! Yaaah Baby ! Having said that, many would think JT should take over as Captain. I even pondered that myself ! Having given it some thought , I think no. Why ? Simple….Bo may not be the biggest star on the team, but he's the most consistent. I've always been impressed by his effort and leadership. Truth is , I believe Brock and Petey will have break out years as well this season. How do you pick one of these superstars over Horvat?. By Bo ( who deserves it for many reasons), remaining captain I feel the true balance of this team will be served ! Hey 31 goals last season….Helloooo !

  16. It's a tradeable contract for the next 3-4 years as long as he maintains at least 60-70 point production

  17. Even if his production slips after 4 years, being a leader and mentor with 40-50points past year 4 or 5 is still worth it

  18. I don't think vancouver has been in this predicament. When's the last time we've had a player like miller? The sedins? It's not that crazy to keep him. Especially at this price.

  19. Not signing him would have signaled a wait till next year attitude. Vancouver wants to win, now. Yes 6 years from now we will not like this contract I am sure, but hopefully we will remember all the good years he gave us and he can still be a great locker room presence when he gets older.
