I think one of the keys to this season is will Alexander Holtz look like he deserved to be the seventh pick in the draft.

Holtz needs to earn his spot, Trey. Fabian is poised to earn one, he plays heavy. Holtz does not. I understand you have to give Holtz a chance to succeed, especially with his shot – and I hope he does – but not at the expense of other players if they are truly outperforming him. Maybe entertain Mercer at 3C, Haula at 4C or at a wing role to make space for both Zetterlund and Holtz? Maybe make a trade to free up another spot? Unpopular take here, but if he has to wait one more year in the A, getting called up for an injury replacement, so be it. I hope he's dynamite in camp, bc that'll make for a great problem to solve.

I’m not as high on Sharangovich like everyone else is. I would replace him in the top line with Palat. Trey, you have to play Zetterland if he looks better than Holtz out there. Holtz has a hell of shot but if he’s a liability in our zone, he has to step it up to stay on the roster
Hopefully, we can grab that 3rd. Spot in the Metro after the Canes and the Rags. And who knows.. maybe get a wild card

Sharangovich will be good but If holtz finds his stride in the league than I have no doubt he will play 2nd line by mid season.
Might be a hot take, but I think that zetterlund is going to be the best rookie on the team. Similar season to Mercer from this year imo
