I remember EK's early conversation that he was under the impression that he was NOT coming to a team that was "rebuilding." But that is exactly what became his reality. So, in some sense, I understand his frustration; at the same time recognizing no one is perfect or indispensable. But, that said, EK is a great hockey player.

Love EK65, glad he puts himself first. why tf would you want your 11.5M/season dman potentially jeopardizing his health for the next season by playing in meaningless games this year? thats so idiotic to think that he needs to leg out games that dont matter, even Couture and Hertl looked disinterested at times towards the end of the season.

Im a die hard sharks fan. When we signed EK we were doomed. Our salary cap left no money for our core. We lost Pavelski (who I think is worth way more than EK) should have kept Justin Braun and now we traded Middleton. I think that Bougner did great with what he had. Our front office needs to get it together.,..

This guy is what's wrong with the team, he is a cancer & he doesn't care about the teams success. It's always about Erik therefore it's not the first time or the last that he will put himself first. Mario came back for the final stretch after breaking his leg yet ET65 can't play because of a broken fingernail? GTFOH
He is a liability on defense, doesn't skate hard on the back check when he jumps in the zone, has zero leadership skills, and he kills the cap with his atrocious contract.

Seriously move this guy if he is going to remain with the TEAM he isn’t this NHLs “D” man he is way to small and hates getting hit! A Center , wing or Forward he would be so much better!! I would at least try moving him before I let him go!

They need to play better defense not score more goals. Start with the D .. then the goals will come. So perhaps Karlsson can get in the gym this summer work harder.. up to that 11.5M contact he demanded and not be a minus- player next season.

This guy can help win a Stanley cup with almost anyone if he is healthy , he is really that good .
I hope Erik can play well going forward, he’s done alright in SJ with injuries playing a factor. I just hope he can stay healthy, injuries suck but it’s apart of playing 82 games in a physically demanding sport.
As a long time Sens fan when Erik Karlsson is healthy he is a machine and can drag any squad through the dirt on his back. Shame injuries have removed so much of that effortless game he used to play… Happy we have Norris and Stutzle, but seeing vintage Karlsson will always get me excited! Wish you luck King Karl!
