J’ai hâte que la Coupe Stanley commence ce soir ! En fait, j’ai grandi en tant que fan des Burins et j’ai été dévasté lorsqu’ils ont perdu en 2013. Leur course de 2011 a vraiment été ma première expérience de hockey et cette équipe occupera toujours une place spéciale dans mon cœur. The blues just won the Stanley cup!!!!!
Dude the flyers were the best expansion to begin and they had the most success in the beginning and the worst luck. Pelle Lindbergh dying in a car accident he was even better than hextall, had it not been for that they would’ve won a cup in the 80’s maybe two. Not getting Patrick Kane in the draft lottery in 07 when we finished with by far the worst record. Michael Leighton setting records for sv pct and GGa I the 2010 conference finals and then blowing it in the scf! Did I mention every time we make it to the final the team will play becomes a dynasty!!!
The islanders in the 80’s win 4 straight cups (they won on an offside call that was missed).
The oilers twice in the 80’s. They win 4 out 5 finals.
The redwings 3 cups in 6 years not to mention the success of making it in the 08 and winning again and making it in 09.
The Blackhawks in 2010 then win 3 times in 6 years!
We are next thought with established vets like Giroux, Voracek, Van Reimsdyk, Niskanen, Thompson, Grant
Just turned vets in couturier and Hayes
And our youth Konecny, Provorov, Sanheim, Myers, Laughton, Hagg, Goistisbehere*, Patrick*, Lindblom* Farabee, Frost and CARTER HART
* I hope ghost can become the player he use to be he had a 60 pt season a couple years back
* Patrick and Lindblom especially Lindblom can get healthy for life first and hockey secondly.
We also have great grinders and character players like Raffl, Pitlick and Aube-Kubel.

Good video but needs an update for the happy ending. The missing piece was the great goalie for the playoffs. Hats off to Biinnington. Also the Blues lacked toughness for the playoff run. Hats off to Berube and Armstrong.
Great vid but IMO Dallas was definitely the strongest test the Blues faced in the playoffs. I thought the winner of that series was going to win the cup. I would double down and say when the season finally continues it will be that way again.

Hey Cole, I just wanted to say, what a great job you did on this video! I think if you could make a great finish to this video, like a part 2 if you will, of the STL Blues winning it all for the first time in franchise history, in 7 games, I know that this is old news now but, I bet you a bunch of people will definitely watch the 2nd part… Its such a great sports story and in so many different directions as well. From Binnington's rookie debut and cup run, to a team victory song, to a hometown hero in Maroon's 2OT game winner vs Dallas, to even some NHL records being broke and Blues franchise records being broken and recorded all by this team, to even the Stanley Cup parade where all the players and staff walked down Market Street with the Cup in hand just so they could include all the fans being able to be right there involved with the players and the Cup, (we've never seen anything like that before, what class!). I just think its one of those sports stories/ movies like a "Rudy", or "Miracle", or "Hoosiers". A great story to say the least.. especially one for you to tell! I understand if youre too busy tho!
