@Oilers d'Edmonton

1. McDavid and Draisaitl are definitely carrying this team. It is amazing how good McDavid is to singlehandedly carry a team in the playoffs like this.
    I wonder if his success is the result of LA being unable to contain him via defensive failings, or if McDavid has finally become accustomed to playoff hockey and is able to withstand the physical game and generate chances anyways.
    I suppose if the Oilers win this series we will immediately see which one it was since they will be gaved with a very physical and dirty team in either Dallas or Calgary.
    If we do see a BoA, I do worry about Calgary, simply because their star players have failed to make a significant impact, whereas Edmonton has been carried by their star line this entire series.

  2. Can't wait for the Oilers just to shock you again in Game 7. You seem so shocked whenever they win. You hating on Smith, but how does his save percentage stack up to Quick's?

    And who oj earth hates Elliot Freidman? Man, I liked your pre-playoff analysis, but you're freestyling way too much with your personal opinions. Just mad Jets not in it maybe? But that's just my opinion.

  3. Happy early birthday man! Just started watching your recaps and have been enjoying them. Wish the Kings would’ve sealed this one but here we are in game 7. GKG!!

  4. Not a Kane fan. It's going to be interesting to see if the Oilers can do it. When I lived in PHX, Smith was hot or cold. He is hot now, but when he goes cold, it's full a full stop transition to Swiss cheese

  5. Proud of my kings. Taking the Oilers to the brink and making it earn it. Good experience for our young players and rebuilding mode.

    I will say, wouldn't be to excited about being an Oilers fan. The fact the entire team is made up of one man and one line. Kings showing the blue prints on how to beat em. I don't see them getting past better teams like Colorado or Calgary

  6. Mcdavid has really improved in the playoffs on both sides of the ice. Really nice to see the Oilers bounce back, I am not gonna get cocky but I got a feeling the OIl will pull through. Overall its been a really entertaining series, Kings have shown up!

  7. I find myself torn. Conor McDavid has been blessed from God and has been by far the best player in every league bes ever played in…..yet he's kind of a sympathetic figure for me.

    I felt the same about Crosby and I felt so glad for him when he broke through and won it all. I feel the same for McDavid. I want the best players of a generation to be validated with Cup win.

    Sadly McDavid is going to have to relocate to get it done. Oilers arent going to give him the support he needs. 1st or 2nd round exits as long as he's in Edmonton. I hope I'm wrong.

  8. Being Australian and having never played an ice hockey game in my life it’s nice to have an analytic view like this. Great video and great win oilers!

  9. The Oilers finally played a full game of play-off hockey. One more time, please.

  10. Zero respect put on Kane, dude is clearly Elite. All he needs are actual teammates, which he has in Edmonton now.
